If your inbox gets flooded by the same people who are constantly trying to sell you stuff or promote their own businesses (or if they've got no idea what "social media" even means), then you'll know exactly why we're here today.

How do I export someone's LinkedIn connections?

If you don't mind opening up a spreadsheet, this is one way of exporting everyone on your LinkedIn network. To begin, select All Contacts from either the top right corner of the screen or by clicking on the dropdown menu under Account Settings & Connections. Once you've done that, click on Export CSV. From the pop-up window choose the file type, enter a name, and hit Save. Then open the downloaded file in Excel or Google Sheets. Finally, copy/paste all the names into a new column. Easy, huh?

You can add additional columns to make it easier to spot duplicates later on. Just head back to your original list and drag the relevant fields onto the newly created row. Repeat until you've filled every single cell. That should take roughly 10 minutes tops.

Alternatively, try importing the whole lot into Gmail instead. Not only will this let you create multiple labels automatically (so you never miss anyone again!), it'll give you control over the layout of your inbox. Plus, you can always search within Gmail for any specific users based on their first name or last name.

How do I export my LinkedIn contacts to Outlook?

This method works well if you already have Outlook installed on your computer. First thing to remember is that you must do this via the desktop version of Microsoft Office 365 rather than the web app. So grab yourself a coffee, sit back, and check out these instructions below...

Step 1: Open Outlook 2016 or earlier and sign in to your account. Click File & New & Contact. Now navigate to Import & Export tab.

Step 2: Select Import Data from Other Sources from the left hand side. Next, click Browse and locate the.csv file you exported from LinkedIn above.

Step 3: On the next page, choose Add Existing Fields and tick the box beside each field listed. Lastly, click Finish to complete the process. Your contacts will now appear in the appropriate sections of Outlook.



How do I export my LinkedIn contacts to Outlook?

The easiest option is to use something called Mail Merge. Basically, this feature allows you to combine different sources of information together. What that means is that once you've extracted your entire LinkedIn network into a document, you can merge those records with your regular email contacts stored elsewhere.

To set this up:

Open Word, insert a table

Click Insert - Tables

Select Table Tools - Design

In the resulting dialog box, click OK to expand the options available to you. Under the Header section, pick the label format and font style you prefer. Also ensure that the Sort By drop-down has been selected correctly.

Under Cell Styles, change the default color scheme to whatever suits you best. Make sure you leave the Background Color unchecked. When you're finished, click OK to apply your changes.

Next, switch back to the ribbon bar and click on Layout Options - Text Wrapping. Choose Keep Together from the drop-down menu and click OK twice to confirm your selections.

Now you need to decide which source you want to pull your data from. Since you've already imported your LinkedIn contacts, you may as well stick with the same source. However, if you don't have access to your own database, you can still use the Mail Merge function. Simply create a blank document and paste your LinkedIn contacts inside.

Once you've made your selection, click on Run Document from the Ribbon Bar. A message box will pop up asking you to specify which fields you wish to include. Tick the boxes corresponding to the ones you added previously, then press OK.

Lastly, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the template and click on the Merge button. After a few seconds, you'll receive a confirmation that the documents were successfully merged. And voila, you've managed to convert your LinkedIn contacts into a clean email archive.

Can you export LinkedIn followers to excel?

Yes! While it takes longer than most methods, you can actually use your browser to scrape LinkedIn follower counts directly into an Excel sheet. There are two ways to achieve this:

Use the LinkedIn Sales Navigator Chrome Extension: With this tool, you can quickly generate lists of potential leads based on their location, job title, company size, industry sector, etc. Once you've entered the necessary criteria, click the Send Request icon and wait for results to populate across the top of the screen.

Afterwards, you can filter the results further by selecting individual contacts and copying the link into your clipboard. Head back to Excel and paste the links into cells B2:B100. Each time you run the macro, the numbers update accordingly.

Use Google Spreadsheets: Google Docs' built-in formula functions allow you to extract follower count values straight into a separate sheet. The steps involved aren't much different from the previous solution, except you'll need to install the Google Script Editor plugin beforehand. When you're ready to start, click on Tools & Script Gallery from the sidebar. Scroll down to View Sample Code and click on Get Started. Copy the code provided into your script editor, then replace the references to LINKEDIN_USERNAME and LINKEDIN_PASSWORD with your username and password credentials for LinkedIn.

Finally, highlight the following text and copy it into a new cell: =IMPORTRANGE("https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?"&A1). Replace A1 with the name of the sheet containing your follower count data. Press Enter after typing the equals sign.

That's it! As soon as you refresh your sheet, follower counts should magically appear in the adjacent column.

Here's everything you need to know about getting a hold of your LinkedIn email and extracting all the other information too.

If you're looking to use LinkedIn as part of your job search process, it can help enormously to have an idea of which companies are using it, so you can make sure you apply there when you eventually move into work. If you already know someone at a company you'd like to work for but aren't quite ready yet, LinkedIn will give you a great opportunity to reach out by sending them a message (you don't even need their permission). And finally, there are plenty of times where you'll simply be curious about exactly why somebody clicked "Follow" on your profile, or would rather not risk giving away any personal details to complete strangers.

In this article we're going to talk through three methods for finding your LinkedIn email, along with two different ways to actually retrieve it once you've found it. We'll explain each method briefly before diving straight in to our favorite tool for doing so.

How do I get a list of followers on LinkedIn?

When you first sign up to LinkedIn, you may notice it asks whether you want to see who follows you right off the bat. This feature lets you check your follower count and see if anyone new has recently joined your network. Once you click the option to view those users, however, it seems LinkedIn doesn't let you go back to the main page unless you logout completely, meaning that following page isn't really useful anymore. You could try signing in again and hoping that you'll be able to access it again later, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to always happen.

Instead, you should probably head over to your homepage instead, then navigate to the More tab at the top left and look under Followers. There you'll see a big list of everyone who followed you within the last 30 days. Clicking on any name here shows you their full profile, including any connections they may have made. The same works for viewing the profiles of those who are no longer connected, but clicking on either button will only bring up a blank screen. So while there's nothing wrong with keeping track of these folks, it's not possible to directly interact with them via LinkedIn itself.

How do I find bulk email addresses?

This is perhaps the simplest way to obtain your own email address on LinkedIn. When prompted during registration, you'll be asked to enter your current email address, which is used for notifications and password resets. Just type something unique into the box, such as your first initial plus your surname - e.g., jsmith1234@linkedin.com. Then hit Next and continue filling out your basic profile. At the end of the form, you'll see a link called Contact Info & Email Address. That's the place where you can add additional email addresses and phone numbers for yourself. Simply copy and paste whatever you entered above, and it will appear below.

Now you can start adding a lot of extra contacts to your lists, and they won't spam you! To remove entries after making changes, simply select the email address(es) you wish to remove, press Delete, and confirm.

The downside here is that you can't edit these fields afterwards. For instance, say you were trying to change your email address to include your middle name, but forgot to save it. Or maybe you wanted to update your mobile number, but didn't realize you had to create a separate entry for that. Either way, removing a field means you're stuck with the old version forever.

Another thing to note is that you cannot set up multiple email accounts on LinkedIn, which makes it harder than ever to manage multiple inboxes. Still, this is a handy trick for quickly grabbing email addresses when you need them.

How do I find my email address for LinkedIn?

If you're still struggling to figure out how to find your LinkedIn email address, try checking out these four tools for locating it. They all offer slightly different features and interfaces, but ultimately, they all do pretty much the exact same thing: provide you with an easy way to locate your email address.

First, visit LinkedIn.com/accounts and log in with your username and password. From there, choose Get Started. On the next page, scroll down until you come across the section labeled Account Settings. Underneath, you'll see a small menu item titled Profile Information. Select that and hit Continue. In the resulting window, you'll now see a dropdown labelled Personal Details. Choose Add New Field. Scroll down to Email Address, and fill in your preferred email format (e.g., johnsmith@gmail.com), and hit Save Changes. Your email address will now display beneath your name.

Alternatively, you can use Chrome's LinkedIn Extension to automatically pull your email address whenever you open the app. Open Google Chrome and install the official LinkedIn extension if you haven't done so already. After installing, launch Chrome, then click the blue icon in the upper right corner and select Linked Accounts. Now you'll see a list of every website you've signed up to, including LinkedIn. Click the green + icon beside your name and select Edit settings. Enter your desired email domain, then click Done. Finally, click the gear icon and select Enable Autofill Data From Selected Sites to enable automatic data extraction. Anytime you load up the browser, you'll receive a notification telling you that LinkedIn sent your email address to the service provider, allowing you to grab it whenever you desire.

These options are certainly convenient, but none of them provides you with total control over your privacy. Plus, you can't share your email address with others outside of LinkedIn, whereas the options described earlier allow you to hand over your email address to third parties.

Where do I find my LinkedIn email?

You can find your LinkedIn email address anywhere between your profile and your connections' pages. Head over to your profile and click the cog icon next to your picture and bio. Alternatively, click the More tab at the top left and hover over the account icon. Below, you'll see a series of links leading to various sections of your profile. One of them reads Profile & Connections. Hover over that and you'll see your email address listed underneath.

Of course, the absolute quickest and easiest way to find your email is to simply open your inbox. Assuming you're logged in to LinkedIn, you'll discover several messages waiting for you inside. These are likely to contain important updates from recruiters, invitations to events, and requests for feedback. Each message contains a link to its original source, so you can click through to see what triggered it and learn more about the person behind it.

As well as seeing who liked your latest post or uploaded a photo, you can also browse through your inbox to spot any invites or other correspondence from potential employers. As long as you're logged in, you'll never miss anything important.

There are certain things that LinkedIn limits you from accessing. Most notably, you can't read private messages, and you can't reply to them. However, you can at least view the senders and recipients of any messages posted to your wall. Another limitation of note is that you can only respond to messages from people you follow. If you're keen to improve your visibility or build a larger network, you'll need to invest some time in building relationships with individuals who currently don't follow you.

While you're browsing through your inbox, you may feel tempted to delete any messages that contain inappropriate language or images. Don't worry too much about deleting these, though, because they're unlikely to impact your career prospects negatively. Instead, think about how you'd prefer to deal with offensive content in general. Would you prefer to block the sender entirely, report the inappropriate behavior to LinkedIn, or ignore it altogether? Whichever approach you decide upon, remember that blocking abusive comments won't stop spammers or identity thieves from targeting you.

Once you've located your email address, you can forward it to friends and family members, and you can also use it to register for services offered by LinkedIn. For example, if you're planning to attend a conference or event hosted by your employer, you can invite colleagues ahead of time using your LinkedIn email address. Similarly, if you're thinking of applying for a position, you can send your CV to prospective recruiters using your LinkedIn email address. Of course, if you want to avoid spamming your contacts unnecessarily, you shouldn't bother forwarding any unsolicited messages to your email address.

But if you've been using it for years or are just starting out now, there might be some things that you haven't thought through yet - like retrieving an old email address so that you can continue communicating with people who have already left LinkedIn. How do I retrieve my linkedIn account information without email?

LinkedIn has recently made it easier than ever to remove your personal information from its service. You can delete your account completely (or almost) by signing into the website with your username and password. But before you go ahead and delete your entire LinkedIn profile, note that doing so will also erase any other data stored within your account, including your location history and search histories.

So if you really need access to those kinds of details, you'll probably need to sign back into LinkedIn after deleting your account. However, if you want to permanently delete your account entirely, your only option is to request your deletion via support@linkedin.com instead of simply logging out.

You may not even need to take such drastic measures though. As long as you still use your email address associated with your LinkedIn account, you should theoretically be able to log into your account at least once per year. This means that you could potentially retrieve your deleted account information again whenever you feel ready to do so.

It's worth noting here that if you try to create a new account under the same name, LinkedIn will stop you because it doesn't recognize your credentials. So unless you plan on keeping your current account active indefinitely, you won't be able to recreate it with your previous login details either.

Is my email address shown on LinkedIn?

It depends on whether you actually used your real name when creating your account. Your profile can display multiple names for each one of them depending on which country you created it in and how many aliases you added. For example, if you were born in Nigeria, you would see "Nigeria" listed alongside your full legal name in your profile summary section. In fact, it looks like most users choose to include their birth country as part of their first name rather than adding middle initials.

Most likely, you wouldn't care where your name came from since you're happy enough sharing with everyone you meet online anyway. That said, if you'd prefer to remain anonymous altogether, you can always set your name to something else or leave it blank instead.

For most purposes, however, displaying your full name makes sense. Not only will it help others identify you better, especially if you're trying to connect with anyone outside of your local area, but it also gives you an opportunity to add additional information to your profile. And remember that most people aren't going to bother reading anything beyond your headline anyway.

How do I find my email address?

There isn't much to say on the subject except that you shouldn't expect LinkedIn to store it somewhere obvious. After all, you're not exactly giving away your private life to strangers by joining the platform! Instead, you would probably be better off searching for your own name and checking your inbox afterward. Just make sure to check your spam folder first, preferably while logged in to avoid getting hit with annoying messages from bots.

However, if you're unable to locate your email address anywhere in your profile, it could mean that it never existed. Or perhaps it was taken down due to privacy concerns. Either way, the only solution is to reenter your email address in case you forgot yours. We recommend making sure to save your passwords regularly too.



How can I find someone's email address from LinkedIn profile?

The easiest way is to open the person's profile page and scroll down until you reach their Summary Section. There you'll usually find a link labeled Contact Info that takes you to their profile page itself. Click on that, and you'll land on a list of possible email addresses. The last two entries on the list are often reserved for phone numbers and mailing addresses respectively.

Alternatively, click on Account Settings above the main header and select Email Addresses & Phone Numbers from the dropdown menu. Now you can switch between viewing your existing email addresses and seeing all available ones. You can sort these results alphabetically or filter them based on whether they belong to individuals, companies, organizations, schools, or government agencies.

Another useful feature is the ability to view your past interactions with specific accounts. To activate this function, click on View Interactions below the Search box next to the column headers. Once you do, you'll receive notifications whenever you communicate with certain profiles, be it directly or indirectly. When you hover over any notification, you'll see three buttons along the top of the screen: Reply All, Forward Message, and Delete Conversation History.

When you reply to a conversation thread, LinkedIn automatically adds the recipient's name to the beginning of your response. Similarly, forwarding a message lets you share it with whoever sent it to you originally. Finally, clicking on Delete Conversation History deletes all traces of your interaction with the original sender.

How to transfer LinkedIn contacts to another account

As mentioned earlier, removing all your LinkedIn account data requires you to change your username first. Otherwise, you'll end up having to start from scratch in order to recreate your account. Fortunately, migrating your contacts is pretty easy. Here's how you can move them over to the new account:

Go to Settings from the app drawer on your mobile device.

Click on Profile and Contacts.

Choose Export and Import Contacts.

Select the type of file you wish to import and confirm that you're exporting contacts.

On the next screen, tick the boxes beside the items you want to migrate. Then follow the prompts to upload the CSV file onto Google Drive.

Afterwards, navigate to File Explorer on Windows 10/8 and copy the downloaded files into your Dropbox directory. From there, you can sync them across devices.

Once done, visit the new LinkedIn account and proceed to importing your contacts. They'll appear in the People tab of your new profile.

Note that you cannot transfer your company contacts to a different employer once you quit your job. Also, if you decide to close your old account later on, you'll lose all of the content inside it.

Also, keep in mind that LinkedIn doesn't allow you to transfer your contacts across platforms. You can only transfer them to another web browser or desktop client version of the site.

Does LinkedIn Premium show email address?

Not anymore. Since 2019, the social media giant started hiding the ability to view your email address on your public profile pages. At the time of writing, LinkedIn says that it will soon roll out a similar update to the rest of its apps.

This comes as part of LinkedIn’s ongoing efforts to improve user experience and protect members' privacy. While it's understandable that the company wants to maintain a level of trust among its customers, the decision does come off as odd considering you can still see your email address elsewhere on the site.

Even worse, it seems that LinkedIn plans to remove the “Contact Me” button entirely in the future if you enable Do Not Disturb mode. So if you don't want to risk being seen as desperate for attention, you'll have no choice but to disable DND temporarily. Of course, this will result in fewer opportunities to connect with prospective clients.
