Does HubSpot integrate with Google suite?

Does HubSpot integrate with Google suite?

If there's one area where a lot of companies are still behind their competitors when it comes to digital marketing is customer service software. While most business owners know that they need an effective CRM system to keep track of customers' data and interactions, few have figured out how to use this information for more than just reporting purposes.

Hubspot has been at the forefront of helping businesses improve their internal operations by connecting all aspects of its product portfolio into a single platform. The company offers several products including those aimed at marketers (such as InVision), salespeople (like Leadpages) and executives (like Desk.com). One of these products is called Google Workspace. It allows users who own HubSpot tools like Contacts & Marketing Cloud or Sales Navigator to connect them together. This means that if someone from your contact list opens up a HubSpot lead capture page while using Gmail, then he can be automatically routed through his inbox to complete form entries without ever leaving the app. This type of functionality will become even more important once we enter the era of AI-powered chatbots.

In order to understand whether HubSpot integrates with Google Suite properly, let’s first take a look at what exactly Google Workspace is. According to HubSpot, "Google Workspaces combines email, calendar, task management, messaging, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms, plus file storage services." So essentially, it acts as a bridge between traditional productivity platforms like Microsoft Office 365/Outlook and Google Drive and third party solutions such as HubSpot's own applications. If you're interested in learning more about this feature, I've written a detailed article explaining how to set up Google Workspace here.

So now that we have our understanding down pat, let’s move onto talking about some of HubSpot's integrations. Does HubSpot work with Google suite? What programs does HubSpot integrate with? How many apps does HubSpot integrate with? How does HubSpot integration work? Below you'll find answers to each question.

Does HubSpot work with Google workspace?

As mentioned earlier, HubSpot already works seamlessly across different parts of its product line. However, since both systems operate under the same umbrella, it makes sense that HubSpot should also integrate well with something as popular as Google Workspace. As far as I'm aware, HubSpot officially supports four types of Google Workspace accounts — Individual Accounts, Business Standard Plans, Enterprise Plus plans and Education Accounts. To learn more about which plan fits best with your needs, check out Google's official pricing guide.

Once signed in, you can easily see a preview of any website you send people to via your HubSpot account. You don't even necessarily have to open a new tab in Chrome. Simply click on Send To [Your App Name] button located right next to More Actions dropdown menu on top left corner of every site. Then, select either Email, Calendar or Task depending on what tool you'd prefer to use. All three options allow you to share content directly within the program itself instead of opening a separate browser window.

While sending links to contacts via email might not seem very useful at first glance, think about the time you waste tapping away on tiny URLs after clicking on links sent inside Slack messages. By integrating HubSpot with Google Apps, you could save yourself precious seconds per link tap! Another great thing about HubSpot + Google Workspace combination is that it doesn't require much effort to get started. There aren't many settings to tweak or change. Just sign in with your Google Account and you're good to go.

However, if you do decide to adjust certain preferences, you can access your Settings panel by clicking on Gear icon located in bottom right corner of your screen. From here, you can choose which features you wish to enable or disable. For example, you may want to turn off auto-forwarding so that your contacts won't accidentally receive tons of promotional emails. Or maybe you would rather opt to delete old events and tasks because they no longer apply to you anymore.

For anyone who wants to try out the feature before committing to purchasing a license, HubSpot provides free 30-day trial version of Google Workspace available to everyone. After going through the process above, my colleague Justin recently tried it out himself and was impressed enough to purchase full version of the software. He said that it took him less than 5 minutes to setup everything and that it really helped boost efficiency in his daily workflow.

What Programs does HubSpot Integrates With?

Aside from Google Workspace, HubSpot also integrates with other popular online services such as Mailchimp, Zoho CRM, Jotform, ActiveCampaign, InfusionSoft, Typeform, Formstack, Drip, Marketo, etc. These partnerships provide you with easy ways to create custom campaigns, personalize follow ups, automate repetitive processes and monitor results.

You can add multiple partners to your account by signing in with respective credentials. Once you log in, you will notice two tabs on upper part of the home screen labeled Partner Overview and My Partnerships. Under the latter, you can browse through lists of existing partners, manage partner permissions, and review overall statistics. On the former, you can view a summary of recent actions performed by your selected partner(s). Every action includes date range, number of records affected, total cost, average conversion rate and more.

Additionally, HubSpot allows users to connect HubSpot CRM with Zapier. This gives you the ability to build sophisticated workflows combining dozens of different web apps. Such workflows can include things like creating a new event entry in Event Registration module based on incoming phone call details or automating social media sharing of newly created blog post.

HubSpot claims that it currently operates over 100 million user profiles worldwide. That being said, if you don't see your preferred solution listed above, chances are pretty low that it exists. But fear not, because there are plenty of alternative solutions out there. Read more about the best alternatives to HubSpot CRM below.

How Many Apps Does HubSpot Integrate With?

When it comes to choosing a smart contact manager, HubSpot definitely isn't the only game in town. Other major players worth mentioning are SmartOneCRM, NetSuite CRM, Zoho CRM, and SugarSync. Each of these programs offer similar functionalities but differ greatly in terms of design. Some focus heavily on automation whereas others concentrate more on analytics. Others prioritize mobile compatibility while others tend to specialize in enterprise level support.

The key takeaway is that regardless of which niche you fall into, the ideal choice for your needs likely depends on numerous factors including budget constraints, goals, technical skillset, and potential growth prospects. Before making any decisions, try visiting marketplace forums and asking questions around specific topics related to your project.

How Does HubSpot Integration Work?

Now that we've gone over the basics of HubSpot integration with Google Workspace, let's talk about how it actually looks like when you start using the product. When logged in, you can expect to see familiar interface elements such as Contact Cards, Forms, Landing Pages, Reports, Leads, Tasks, Chats, etc., scattered throughout your Dashboard.

On top of that, you can rest assured knowing that everything runs smoothly thanks to native integration technology provided by HubSpot. Since HubSpot uses OAuth 2.0 protocol to authenticate users, anything shared on public channels remains protected. And unlike other providers, HubSpot takes care of collecting and storing sensitive data submitted by your clients.

HubSpot also lets you control visibility and privacy of various modules individually. Want to show only particular fields to prospective leads? No problem. Or perhaps you simply want to protect your client information so that other team members cannot inadvertently stumble upon it during regular office hours? Doable again!

Another cool feature offered by HubSpot is the ability to sync your contacts across devices. Whenever you update your contact's profile on another device, changes made to it will instantly appear on your HubSpot dashboard. Similarly, whenever you edit a contact record on HubSpot, corresponding changes will occur immediately on your linked smartphone.

Last but certainly not least, HubSpot lets you customize colors, fonts, logos, images, widgets, and layouts for each individual channel. Additionally, you can modify the appearance of menus, sidebars, footers, headers, buttons, and icons. Overall, HubSpot strives to give its users unparalleled flexibility and customization power.

Whether you're looking for a powerful yet intuitive CRM system or a simple database organizer, HubSpot is probably the best option among hundreds of other alternatives out there. Not to mention, HubSpot is constantly improving its products to meet growing demands.

Google is a well-known name for many businesses that rely heavily on data analytics solutions like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365. But what if there was another solution than just connecting these two platforms? What about an all-in-one platform where you can easily manage both of them from one place? That’s exactly what HubSpot offers. The question is whether this powerful tool also integrates with Google Suite? And how do we set it up? Keep reading to find out more details on how this works.

Does HubSpot integrate with Google workspace?

Hubspot has its own customer service team which helps customers better understand their needs. This means they are able to create custom integrations between different tools based on the specific requirements of each business. However, as far as Google Workspace integration goes, HubSpot doesn't offer any such feature at this time. There's no official support for Google Workspace either.

There have been some reports regarding users trying to use both Google Workspace and HubSpot together but most of them were unsuccessful due to various issues. One user reported being unable to log into his Gmail while using HubSpot. Another person had problems setting up automation rules in HubSpot after linking her Google Calendar. These are not ideal scenarios when dealing with big companies with hundreds of employees. So, until HubSpot decides to release their own version of Workspace integration, here’s how you can get around those obstacles.

If you already have a Google Workspace account, then you might be wondering why would you need to link it to HubSpot too? Well, because HubSpot allows you to send emails directly from within the app without having to go through your primary email address every single time. You can simply type in who you want to target in the To field, hit Send Emails button and choose the template you want to apply. It will automatically populate the Subject line and message body fields with relevant information.

You can even schedule the campaign so that it runs according to your preferred timeslot. Once everything is ready, click on Publish Campaign and select the recipients via People Picker. Then, publish the campaign and watch it roll out!

But let’s say you don’t have access to Workspace yet. In this case, you should first head over to gmail.com and sign up for free. After creating an account, follow the steps below to enable IMAP (Internet Mail Access Protocol) settings.

After enabling IMAP, open Outlook and look under "Options" menu. Click on Account Settings -" Advanced Settings and check Internet Email Options. Now, enter your hubspot username and password to continue. Next, click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab and make sure “Enable IMAP” box is checked. Your inboxes should now show up in Outlook.

Once you've done all that, switch back to HubSpot and log in to your admin panel. Go to Users & Roles section and scroll down till you see Manage Users option. Under this heading, click on Add New User. Fill in the required info including Username, Password, First Name, Last Name, etc., along with Role Type. Finally, click Create User to finish off the process.

Now that you have created a new Google Workspace profile, you can proceed by adding it to your HubSpot account. Log in to your Admin Panel, navigate to Integrations -" Integration Types, and select Workplace from the list of options available. From here, search for Google Workspace and add it to your system. At last, give it a try by clicking on Test Connection. If it shows success status, great job! We're almost finished. Let’s move onto Step 2 next.

What does HubSpot integrate with?

As mentioned earlier, HubSpot integrates with several third party services. Amongst others, HubSpot supports Google Apps Marketplace, Facebook Pages Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, LinkedIn Lead Generation, YouTube Studio, Zoom Scheduler, Office Online, Dropbox, Zapier, Stripe, PayPal Pro, Webhooks, Slack, Github, Instagram Marketing Platform, etc. All you have to do is visit the respective marketplace websites and register. They'll provide you with detailed instructions on connecting your accounts.

For example, if you need help integrating Pinterest with HubSpot, you can refer to this guide. As soon as you complete registration, you'll receive a verification code. Enter this code into your HubSpot dashboard and follow the prompts to get started. For example, to start sending posts straight from your company board on Pinterest, you could install PinItToHubSpot plugin.

The same applies to other popular social media channels. Checkout our full guide detailing how to connect Pinterest with HubSpot.

In addition to integrated applications, HubSpot comes equipped with built-in templates that allow you to automate repetitive tasks faster. Some examples include automating lead nurturing series and scheduling weekly meetings. Moreover, with the Power Editor, you can edit HTML content before publishing emails, landing pages, blog articles, etc. HubSpot also provides a drag and drop editor that makes designing forms easier.

So, once again, how do we actually connect our Google account to HubSpot? While HubSpot has provided us with a clear step-by-step tutorial explaining the whole process, sometimes things may still seem quite confusing. Luckily, we took care of that part as well. Here's what you can expect when going through the setup procedure.

When logged in to your HubSpot Dashboard, click on Integrations -" Other Services. A pop-up window will appear with three tabs namely Search Services, Social Media, and Marketplaces. Select Other Services from the left pane. On the right side, you’ll notice four boxes labeled Email System, CRM, Content Management Systems, and Others. Each represents a separate category of external services that you can pair up with HubSpot.

Click on Get Started next to External Service Provider and wait for the popup to disappear. You’re good to go. Just keep in mind that you won’t know whether your connection worked correctly unless you test it yourself.

How do I connect my Google account to HubSpot?

After logging into your HubSpot Dashboard, select Start Setup from the top navigation bar. When prompted, enter your credentials. Make sure to fill in the correct login credentials and domain names accordingly. For instance, if you wish to connect HubSpot with your WordPress website, input wp_username and wp_password instead of your regular login ID and password.

Next, go ahead and select Default Template from the sidebar on the left. By doing so, you’ll be taken to the Templates page where you can browse through dozens of prebuilt campaigns, sales letters, landing pages, proposals, etc. Use the Find More function on top to look for something suitable. Alternatively, you can tap on Browse Templates located beneath the Customize section.

Underneath, you’ll see a long list of categories to choose from. Try choosing Landing Page to begin with. Once you’ve found the perfect template, ensure that Enable Auto-Create Fieldset is turned on. Doing so will mean that whenever someone opens the template, certain elements will remain unchanged.

Finally, click Save Changes to save changes made to HubSpot. Next, select Run Preview to preview your newly designed email. Upon successful completion, copy and paste the unique tracking URL generated by HubSpot into your browser. Hit Submit and wait for a few seconds. Your response will be displayed on the screen.

How does Google integrate with HubSpot?

Just like HubSpot, Google also provides a variety of useful features that you can utilize to enhance existing processes or streamline operations altogether. Like HubSpot, Google allows you to perform numerous actions directly inside the application itself. Below are some of the ways in which you can leverage Google Workspace to improve productivity.

1. Automate Email Sending Process

A lot of people spend hours crafting professional emails only to forget to attach important files. With HubSpot, you can avoid forgetting crucial documents by generating automatic emails containing links to critical attachments. Simply highlight text from your document and insert hyperlinks.

2. Schedule Messages Based on Data Points

With Google Analytics, you can monitor real-time performance metrics related to web traffic. This includes bounce rate, total number of sessions, average session duration, goal conversion rates, etc. Although this isn’t possible with HubSpot, you can always generate scheduled messages based on historical patterns.

3. Track Leads Using Hot Descriptions

One common practice among marketers today is to identify hot prospects in order to capture their attention quickly. If you haven’t tried leveraging hot descriptions yet, it’s high time you did.

This technique involves writing short sentences describing products or services that appeal to potential clients. Whenever anyone searches for similar items online, their results will display prominently above everyone else.

4. Build Personalized Landing Pages

Landing pages are often used to showcase product offerings and explain benefits associated with them. Since HubSpot integrates with WordPress CMS, you can build customized landing pages effortlessly. Through this method, you can personalize messaging across multiple channels.

5. Design Interactive Forms

HubSpot is a powerful tool for managing customer relationships, growing sales teams, and driving more traffic to websites. It's used by some of the world’s biggest brands including eBay, PayPal, Mastercard, and General Motors. But did you know that it also integrates seamlessly with one of our favorite tools—Google Workspace? Let us show you how!

We'll walk through each step required to connect Google Workspace (formerly known as G Suite) and HubSpot so you can start using them together today. You'll be up and running within minutes!

If you're already familiar with HubSpot, skip down below to see what features are available when connecting this app with Google Workspace. Otherwise, keep reading to learn about all the ways you can combine these two platforms into an unstoppable force for growth.

How does HubSpot integrate with Google ads?

When creating new campaigns or automations in HubSpot, users have access to integrated advertising options from both companies. This means that every time someone clicks on an ad link generated via HubSpot, they will automatically end up on Google Ads if they don't choose otherwise.

This integration allows you to offer customers free trials or discounts while keeping 100% of their profits. And since most people won't change those settings manually, this feature alone saves you countless hours compared to traditional methods such as direct mailers.

You can even create custom landing pages based on specific audiences. For instance, if you promote a product online but would like to send out promotional offers to different groups, you only need to set the conditions once. Then, any user who comes across that advertisement sees exactly which group they belong to.

Other benefits include being able to track performance data between multiple systems without switching back and forth between programs. This makes everything much easier than ever before.

As mentioned above, you can still disable this setting at any time. Just go to Settings " Integrations & Advertising Preferences and select No Advertisements & Tracking.

How do I use Google and HubSpot?

The first thing you should do after signing up for either service is head over to the respective help center. In particular, we recommend checking out HubSpot's guide for integrating its system with Google Workspace.

Once there, follow along as we break down each step involved in getting started. We've included screenshots where applicable, but note that your experience may vary depending on your browser type. Since HubSpot plans to fully support Chrome soon, however, we expect things to get smoother around 2020.

To begin, open up the Google Workspace tab located in your menu bar. Click Create workspace account under My Account and enter your login information. Once logged in, click Continue and then Sign in. From here, simply sign in again with the same credentials.

Next, look for Automate Email Messages in HubSpot. If you haven't yet connected HubSpot to your Gmail account, make sure to check out our beginner's guide to building your own CRM platform.

From there, just hit Add another account and fill out the necessary fields. Make sure to add your main company name and address as well as mobile number. Finally, click Save and complete setup.

In short, this process lets you easily sync contacts and tasks from HubSpot with your Gmail account. Now that everything is ready, let's move onto completing the connection.

Click Get Started next to HubSpot inside of Google Workspace. Next, press Select Service. Choose HubSpot Basic. On the following screen, scroll down until you find Integration Options. Hit Manage Services and search for HubSpot. When you find it, expand it and continue toward the bottom of the page.

On this last screen, click + New Application. A pop-up window will appear asking whether you'd rather import a file instead of starting fresh. After entering your admin password, accept the prompt. Next, hit Yes, Import Data.

Select Upload File, navigate to the.hubspotconfig file located on your computer, and upload it. Wait until the process has finished, then hit Download ZIP, extract zip archive contents, and save it wherever you prefer.

Finally, return to the previous screens and pick Install App. Enter your admin password again, then wait for installation to finish.

After completion, you'll receive a confirmation message letting you know that HubSpot was successfully added to your list of applications. At long last, you can now enjoy seamless syncing between your contact lists and lead capture forms.

Can you integrate Google Analytics with HubSpot?

Of course you can! The easiest place to start is with Google Analytics. Simply visit google.com/analytics and log in using your preferred method.

Open up the property editor and hit Insert Code. Search for tracking code and copy it into the text box provided. Look for the unique ID number associated with your website and paste that in too.

Now, input your API key and reload the page. Your site should load properly with analytics displayed underneath it. To test, try adding something to your webpages and looking at the resulting stats.

Since HubSpot doesn't provide native integrations for third parties, you'll need to install the Analytics extension found in Marketplace. Once installed, go ahead and launch the program. Head to Administration " Extensions and enable the icon labeled HubSpot.

Then, click Enable Extension. Log in to your HubSpot account and head to Administer " Security Controls to grant permission to the application.

With this done, we can finally sync data between HubSpot and Google Analytics. First, ensure that you're signed into both programs. Second, go to View " Sync Data and switch to the Synchronize Tab.

Next, choose Dashboard and pick whatever works best for you. Leave anything else selected. Lastly, select Dataset. Scroll down and choose Web Visitor Properties. Check Apply Actions and hit OK.

That's basically it. Now you can view detailed reports showing visitor activity right alongside relevant statistics from HubSpot.

Doing this gives you full control over the content shown in your dashboard. So feel free to tweak colors, fonts, images, etc., to match your brand identity.

Does HubSpot integrate with Google Drive?

Yes, absolutely. As previously stated, you can sync HubSpot Contacts with Google Contacts. However, you can also pair HubSpot Forms with Google Docs.

For example, if you want to collect feedback from visitors on your blog or website, you could ask for their thoughts directly from the form itself. Or maybe you want to gather leads and store documents in HubSpot, but manage them elsewhere. Whatever reason motivates you, you can achieve this goal with ease thanks to HubSpot and Google Drive.

Simply go to docs.google.com and log in with your usual Google account. Open a document and select More Tools " Integrations " Start HubSpot Form Builder. Follow the prompts to authorize permissions and allow HubSpot to access your Drive account.

Now, whenever you use the built-in WYSIWYG editor to compose a new form, you can insert interactive elements straight into your doc. Plus, you can embed links, pictures, videos, and audio files as needed.

These changes take effect immediately, meaning you never have to worry about losing formatting or accidentally making edits outside of the intended interface. Best of all, none of this requires downloading additional software. Everything happens locally on your machine.

Allowing HubSpot to handle interactions with your audience helps you focus less on technical details and more on delivering high-quality experiences. Thus, you can spend more time preparing materials and strategizing for success.

Is HubSpot worth it?

It really depends on your current needs. While HubSpot does come equipped with many useful features, it might not meet your exact requirements.

Some businesses require deeper insight into their customers' behavior, preferences, and goals. Others rely heavily on large mailing lists and complex flowcharts. Maybe you need simple automation scripts for repetitive processes.

However, HubSpot is great for serving almost anyone. That said, if you're interested in learning more about why certain decisions were made behind closed doors, you should consider purchasing a premium plan. Those with unlimited storage space, advanced security controls, and more administrative capabilities stand to gain far greater value from HubSpot.

But no matter what kind of business you operate, HubSpot is flexible enough to grow with you. Whether you decide to stick with the basics or upgrade to enterprise-class functionality, you can rest assured knowing that HubSpot is constantly improving and evolving to suit your organization better.
