To begin, log into your LinkedIn account. Then click on "Send Email" under the "More" tab near the top-right corner of your screen. Select the name of the person you wish to message, type your greeting/salutation, and hit Send. You should receive a response almost immediately. If not, try again later.

If you're looking to build a list of leads, there are two main options available to you: sending targeted emails and using a professional social media platform such as Twitter or Instagram. But let's say you really want to give both options a shot. In order to reach the maximum number of people possible, you have several options. First off, you can create a list of specific contacts based upon criteria like location, industry, job title, etc. Next, you can set up automated follow-up campaigns where you send the same message over and over until someone responds. Or you can opt for something called "social selling." Social selling involves creating personalized messages that are tailored to each individual recipient. The idea is that once you've built rapport with someone, you can share content that interests them. They'll eventually become aware of your business and hopefully consider working with you.

Buy Ads allow you to buy keywords associated with certain businesses. These keywords are usually used by advertisers to promote their goods online. Once purchased, these keywords will appear in advertisements above others posted by companies seeking buyers. Advertisers pay big bucks for these keywords, so there's plenty of competition. One thing to keep in mind is that you must purchase the keyword in bulk before being allowed to use it. Otherwise, you risk paying high prices per impression.

Sell Ads work similarly to Buy Ads, except that they sell space to advertisers instead of buying keywords. As opposed to Buy Ads, however, you can only place Sell Ads in designated sections of your own page. Some of these include Sponsored Updates, Company Pages, Groups, Jobs, Openings, People Nearby, Public Profiles, and Recommendations & Endorsements. While the latter three categories are designed primarily for public consumption, you can still use them to market your services behind closed doors.

As mentioned earlier, you can use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to help you identify and qualify leads. This tool allows you to browse profiles of individuals located near your geographic area, sort through them according to various factors, and add them to your database. Use the filters to narrow your results further, and then decide whether or not you should connect with them. If you do end up connecting, remember to send a short introduction message asking them to visit your website. That said, you shouldn't expect too many replies unless you're targeting people whose professions closely match your own.
