How can I see all of my Google accounts?

While checking your Gmail account is straightforward, things turn slightly trickier when you begin looking into the rest of Google's offerings. There's no direct link between your existing Google accounts and your Gmail address, so unless you regularly log onto websites hosted by Google's own servers you probably won't come across any useful links.

Instead, you need to visit a dedicated Google site called MyApps. Here you can access all of the apps that you've previously installed on your computer, smartphone, tablet or whatever device you're using at the time. Clicking on the app icon next to a particular email address reveals a screen showing all of the related services that were connected to that account. So long as you have the correct credentials stored somewhere on your machine, you should be able to access any of these services directly.

This is particularly helpful when dealing with apps created by third parties. For example, if you want to play games on Steam, you'll need to install something called Google Play Games. Once you've done that, you can browse through your installed titles and then open the relevant game profile to track down your friends' profiles. How can I find someone's Gmail address by phone number without knowing her name?

All you need to do is head straight to Google Voice. On desktop computers, you can launch the application by clicking the small arrow icon on the bottom left corner of the browser window, then selecting Phone Calls. Alternatively, you can tap the Menu button in the top-right corner of your screen, choose More Options and then head to Call Screenings.

On Android devices, you can jump straight to Google Voice by heading to Contacts and tapping the Plus Sign (+) symbol beside the Contact you want to edit. Tap the Edit button next to the phone number you require, then follow the instructions above.

Once inside the app, tap the green Start Calling button to dial the number. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm the incoming call, and you can either accept or reject the caller by hitting OK. Note that unlike standard landline phones, Google Voice refuses to answer calls made outside of North America.

After making a successful connection, you'll hear a familiar ringtone followed by a recorded voice informing you that the other party is busy or unavailable. At this point, you can hang up, leave a voicemail message or attempt to reconnect later by going back to your Contacts app.

The whole process takes seconds, so you shouldn't be waiting very long before hearing back from whoever you're calling. Remember to include your own phone number when leaving a message so that Google knows whose line you're phoning.
