If you're looking into HubSpot but aren't sure where your budget is going to come from, we have good news—HubSpot offers several different subscription plans that are designed around the needs of small businesses and entrepreneurs.

We've compiled this guide so you can get an idea what each plan includes without having to contact customer service or hop through hoops just to find out how much it costs. If you know exactly which product(s) you need, feel free to skip ahead! Otherwise, read below to learn about HubSpot's pricing options.

Pricing details will vary by region, company size, number of users, and other factors. All prices listed here reflect US Dollars.

HubSpot Starter ($29/month): This option provides unlimited email support, co-branded training materials, access to our entire library of videos, webcasts, forums, etc., as well as two hours per month of one-on-one time with a success coach. It also gives you priority technical issues like updates and bugs fixes over others who wait longer for them.

Plus (+$19/month): The Plus package adds advanced analytics, enterprise grade security, custom branding options, more than 2GB file storage space, premium SEO tools, and priority chat support.

Business Pro (+$49/month): Business Pro customers enjoy everything included in the Plus tier plus even more features such as more control over their data privacy, dedicated team members, and dedicated phone numbers.

Can I pay HubSpot with PayPal?

Currently, HubSpot charges its customers using either PayPal Standard payments or Authorize.net credit card processing services. You'll be able to choose whichever works best for you when setting up your account, but there may be some limitations depending on your location. For example, if you use PayPal, you must reside within the United States or Canada. Similarly, if you use Authorize.NET, you cannot purchase HubSpot directly from outside those regions. However, both providers allow you to process transactions in these countries anyway.

You should note that PayPal doesn't charge any fees for sending money between accounts, nor does PayPal take ownership of HubSpot's intellectual property as part of your transaction. As long as you don't store sensitive information on HubSpot itself, you shouldn't encounter any problems.

PayPal integration makes it easy to start selling right away. Once you sign up for HubSpot, select "Set Up New Subscription" under My Account, then click +Add Product. From here, add the appropriate product(s), enter your desired price and shipping address, and create a secure payment button for buyers.

After clicking Add Product, you’ll see a popup window asking for your “Secure User ID” and password. These credentials let you authorize PayPal Payments Standard to receive funds. Then follow the instructions displayed on screen until they prompt you to continue adding items to cart.

Once the checkout process has finished, PayPal will send a notification containing your receipt and final order total to the email address associated with your HubSpot account.

Note: Your first invoice generated during setup will include a $1 fee, but subsequent invoices won’t contain any fees.



How does HubSpot billing work?

Every month, HubSpot sends you detailed usage reports showing how many emails were sent, leads created, website views recorded, unique site visits tracked, etc. Based on these figures, HubSpot estimates your monthly bill. To avoid surprises later, make sure to check your recent activity report before paying. Here is a sample screenshot of a typical report provided during setup:

Each invoice contains a summary of your activities throughout the previous month, along with estimated revenue based on your current pricing. By default, HubSpot automatically bills your card once the due date passes. However, you can change this date or schedule automatic recurring billing dates by selecting Recurring Billing Options under Settings.

Also notice that HubSpot displays the exact amount of money left after taxes and fees. In addition, you’ll see the remaining days left to cancel your contract. Please keep this in mind because canceling early isn’t always beneficial.

To view your upcoming billing cycle, go to your Profile tab. Under Invoicing Preferences, scroll down to Schedule Next Billing Cycle. Click Edit next to When Due Date to adjust this date manually. Or else, pick a convenient time, say 1 week from today, and hit Save Changes.

On older versions of HubSpot, you could only modify the frequency of invoicing. Now, however, you can customize how often you want to be billed, which means you can decide to pay less frequently while still getting accurate reporting.

Another way to reduce spending is to upgrade to the Business Pro Plan or higher instead of upgrading your existing plan. We recommend doing this if you intend to pay off your debt faster rather than increase sales.

Finally, remember that you can track your expenses separately from your income. Head back to Settings > Configuration > Expenses. Enter your bank statements and receipts to build a better picture of your actual spendings.

How do I pay with HubSpot?

As mentioned above, HubSpot automatically debits cards whenever your billing period ends. But you can stop this action by disabling Automatic Billing. Simply visit Settings > General Setup > Auto Billing Preferences, uncheck Automatically Charge Card, and save changes. You can enable automatic charging again anytime you wish.

Alternatively, you might prefer to pay using PayPal Credit, which allows you to spread out your purchases across months. Just head to Payment Methods > Create A Paypal Link, give the merchant name something catchy, and copy the resulting code onto your browser bar.

Please note that PayPal may not accept certain foreign currencies. Also, if you already have a valid debit or credit card issued by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, or another financial institution, simply log into PayPal as normal and make sure to select Debit / Credit Cards as your preferred method of payment.

How can I pay for HubSpot?

There are basically four methods through which you can fund your HubSpot account: credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, and invoice. Since most individuals prefer using their debit cards for online transactions, HubSpot supports Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diner's Club Cards.

Moreover, you can request a refund for unused credits on your card in case you change your mind later. And since HubSpot uses Stripe for processing payments, you can seamlessly integrate the service with your eCommerce apps too.

Depending on your chosen plan, you’ll always be notified when your bill becomes delinquent. At that point, you’ll receive an alert letting you know that your payment hasn’t arrived yet. From there, you can visit your dashboard to review outstanding debts.
