It's no secret that many people use LinkedIn as a way of finding new business partners or potential customers. So what makes this tool so special compared with other social networks like Facebook or Twitter? Is there any reason why you should pay $99 per month on top of your normal membership fee?

I'm going to answer all these questions in one post today. Here are some things you need to know about LinkedIn Sales Navigator before you make a decision whether or not it's worth paying extra for.

Is LinkedIn premium different than sales navigator?

Premium is basically LinkedIn's version of Google AdWords where you bid on keywords related to your industry. You also have access to paid ads such as sponsored content which gives you even greater exposure.

Sales Navigator is similar to Google Analytics - it shows you who visits your website, how long they spend on each page, where they came from etc., although it doesn’t tell you anything about those visitors' interests or demographics.

In short, both tools help you improve your organic search rankings by showing you relevant keywords used to find your site and provide analytics data. They do this without having to worry about SEO because neither tool will alter your existing code.

There are two ways to purchase either service. The first option is through monthly payments based on the number of users accessing your profile. This is great if you want to keep track of who's visiting your profile every day. However, if you don't really care about daily traffic then you might be better off signing up for a yearly subscription instead.

The second method is to buy an annual plan which includes both services at once. It costs less upfront but you'll have to pay again next year unless you cancel early. If you choose this option, make sure you read everything carefully! There are hidden charges which could cost you hundreds of dollars over time. For example, LinkedIn says that you must renew your account every 12 months regardless of whether or not you've accessed the platform since your previous renewal date.

This means that if you sign up for an annual plan, but stop using the service shortly after, you will still have to pay until your current contract expires. To avoid this problem, stick to the monthly payment model.

Is premium and sales navigator the same?

Yes, they are very similar products offering almost identical features. But there are differences between them, especially if you decide to go with the annual billing option.

For example, if you opt into sales navigation, you won't see ads while browsing the web. On the contrary, if you go with premium, you may notice sponsored posts appearing in your feed. And finally, sales navigator allows you to create landing pages whereas premium provides basic analytics.

So, depending on which service you pick, you may end up missing certain features. In fact, you probably shouldn't mix them together.

You can always upgrade later if you realize you made a mistake. As long as you stay within the terms of service, you won't incur additional fees.

Is LinkedIn Sales Navigator worth the money?

So let's say you wanted to target someone working for a pharmaceutical company. You could click on the pharma tab, enter the name of the person you were targeting, select the city/state they live in, and look through thousands of targeted results instantly.

This feature alone makes LinkedIn Sales Navigator worth every penny compared to other services out there that you need to pay hundreds of dollars each month for.

But is it really worth paying $300+ per month for LinkedIn Premium? That depends entirely on whether or not you plan to actually use the service. If you do nothing but use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to send emails out, build relationships, and wait for potential clients to respond, then yes, it’s definitely worth it. However, if you don’t already have a strategy for getting response rates high enough to justify spending anywhere near $300 per month, then you should probably pass.



Is LinkedIn Premium worth it for sales?

When asked about the effectiveness of LinkedIn Premium, many experts will tell you that it isn't very helpful at all unless you have a specific business model in mind. According to Forbes, LinkedIn Premium may be useful for marketers, but it won't necessarily improve your conversion rate. As long as you're selling products online, LinkedIn simply won't help you much.

However, if you're a sales rep trying to reach out to potential clients, LinkedIn Premium may be a great place to start. For example, you can set up email templates for different types of messages and easily schedule automatic emails to go out at certain times throughout the day.

These automated emails allow you to send multiple messages without needing to spend time interacting with anyone in real life. Plus, you can customize your message to include things like images, videos, links, and even audio files depending on what type of product you're offering.

And speaking of emailing potential clients, if you've ever tried sending personalized emails to prospective customers via regular mail, you know that it takes forever. So if you work for a small business and your goal is to generate revenue, it's probably better to save your precious time for more productive activities.

With LinkedIn Premium, you can create customized landing pages to capture data from visitors and gather information about your ideal customer persona. Then, you can craft a series of questions that lead people toward signing up for your newsletter or buying whatever it is you're selling.

As far as tracking responses goes, LinkedIn doesn't provide full analytics reports like Google Analytics, but it's still pretty decent. When you receive a response, you can check the number of views received, the source of traffic (i.e., direct link clicks vs organic), and even the date range of visits. All of these details are displayed graphically alongside your main dashboard page.

For instance, you can see if your top performing content is generating interest and attracting attention. Or perhaps you'd like to compare the amount of traffic coming from various sources to figure out which ones perform well overall. These metrics are useful for determining which marketing strategies bring in the most conversions.

What is LinkedIn Premium good for?

There are lots of reasons why LinkedIn Premium could be beneficial for you personally. After all, the ability to interact with others directly is always going to give you more opportunities to grow your network and expand your knowledge. Of course, it's not going to replace actual human interaction completely, but it certainly comes in handy when you're struggling to find ways to promote your brand effectively.

Also, if you're planning to launch a startup or join another company, LinkedIn Premium is a must-have tool that will greatly increase your chances of finding qualified candidates. Because LinkedIn Premium gives you complete control over your profile, you can showcase your skills and experience clearly, along with all the valuable insights you gain from connecting with other professionals.

On the flip side, if you're currently employed somewhere else, you might prefer to stick with LinkedIn Free instead. There are plenty of benefits to using LinkedIn Free, including the ability to post updates automatically, participate in discussions, share articles, and use apps without worrying about extra fees.
