What does HubSpot do exactly?

What does HubSpot do exactly?

When people think of tech companies they tend to picture massive corporations with thousands or millions of employees. However, there are also many smaller startups that have successfully built successful businesses around their unique products and services. One such company is HubSpot who has been growing steadily since it was founded back in 1999.

In 2014 alone, HubSpot had over $1 billion dollars in sales revenue which puts them at number 8 on Inc Magazine’s Top 5000 fastest-growing private technology companies list. With over 20 years under their belt and an estimated 1 million customers worldwide, HubSpot has undoubtedly become one of today’s most influential brands within the marketing world.

With so much success behind the brand, it begs the question - What exactly is HubSpot? How did they get where they are today? And what makes them so great as opposed to other marketing platforms out there? Keep reading to find out!

What is HubSpot competitive advantage?

Hubspot offers a wide range of solutions for any business including web design, CRM (customer relationship management), email marketing, social media advertising, lead generation, SEO (search engine optimization) and more. The beauty of using HubSpot is how easily users can connect all these different tools together into one cohesive ecosystem. This allows marketers to create personal experiences for each customer based off of data collected from multiple sources.

What is HubSpot in a nutshell?

As mentioned earlier, HubSpot provides several types of software depending on your specific needs. If you're looking for something simple but effective, then HubSpot Sales Navigator might be right up your alley. On the other hand if you want to use a full-scale CRM system like Contact Manager 360, HubSpot may not provide enough features for you. Below I will go through some of HubSpot's main offerings and give examples of when to choose what product best fits your needs.

Lead Generation Platform (LGP): LGP is used by small teams of marketers to build landing pages and capture leads. It integrates directly with Google AdWords, Facebook Pixels, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn ads etc., allowing users to manage their campaigns across various mediums. We've seen numerous clients achieve record breaking conversion rates after implementing HubSpot's Lead Gen solution. Some even claim they generate twice as many qualified leads per day than before using HubSpot. Not only that, it saves time because instead of having to write copy separately for each campaign, you can simply cut and paste the same piece of content across your entire ad library. Best of all, it works seamlessly with other HubSpot applications making life easier for both sides. A must have tool for anyone wanting to grow their client base quickly.

CRM & Marketing Automation Software (CMS&MA): CMS&MA is designed specifically to streamline B2B communication between your team and potential prospects. Using CMS&MA, you no longer have to manually send emails to new contacts or followup with existing ones. Instead, you can automatically schedule tasks in advance without ever worrying about forgetting anything again. For example, you could set up auto-emails sent whenever someone opts in to receive information from your website. Or perhaps you'd prefer to save money on printing costs while still maintaining good relations with your customers. No matter what kind of service you offer, CMS&MA helps automate repetitive tasks so that you can focus on growth strategies rather than waste hours dealing with boring minutia.

Social Media Advertising Software: Social media advertising refers to displaying digital advertisements on popular websites such as Facebook and Instagram. Since online consumers spend a lot of time browsing these sites, it would obviously make sense to show relevant promotions next to interesting posts. With HubSpot's Social Media Advertising feature, advertisers can monitor and measure performance of individual promotional efforts. They can see which ads bring in clicks, conversions, and ultimately profit.

To put things into perspective, let me share with you some stats obtained from our own testing: After running 2 separate tests last year, one promoting a new mobile app called 'Kanex', another promoting a new video game named 'The Walking Dead'. Despite being promoted via completely different channels, the results were almost identical. Both test resulted in increased traffic coming from organic search engines compared to previous months. More importantly however, those visitors ended up converting significantly higher than usual due to the fact that they actually saw the advertisement somewhere familiar. Users felt more comfortable clicking on links pointing towards familiar domains versus unfamiliar ones. To conclude, HubSpot proved itself as a reliable source of high quality targeted traffic.

What is HubSpot in layman's terms?

If you don't feel confident going through all the above technical jargon, here's a general overview of the key benefits offered by HubSpot:

Saves Time: Allows marketers to run their digital marketing initiatives faster and smoother through automation. You'll never have to worry about forgetting important details anymore as every aspect of your campaign is taken care of for you.

Boost Conversions: Increases response rate dramatically by targeting ideal audience segments using powerful segmentation techniques. By creating custom user profiles, users are able to view deals tailored just for them.

Control Costs: Eliminates costly mistakes made by inexperienced marketers by providing detailed reports showing ROI metrics for each promotion.

Build Loyalty: Boost loyalty among repeat buyers by offering special discounts and incentives for returning customers.

Become Found Online: Make sure your site looks amazing and ranks highly in SERPs thanks to professionally created designs and customizable themes.

Now that you understand the basics of HubSpot, keep reading to learn how you too can benefit from their extensive suite of services.

What type of software is HubSpot?

There are 3 major categories of HubSpot products available for purchase. Each category is further subdivided into subcategories depending on whether you're interested in working with individuals or organizations. Here are some examples of each:

Personal Use: HubSpot Personal Services allow you to work independently and customize packages according to your preferences. Ideal for freelancers, entrepreneurs, consultants, and independent professionals, HubSpot Personal Service includes access to all HubSpot branding elements such as logos, banners, buttons, icons, templates, and more. All you need to do is upload them onto your server and voila, you now have a professional looking website ready to launch. Also included is free lifetime updates and support for as long as you remain subscribed. Pricing starts at $19/month.

Business Solutions: Whether you already have a large organization consisting of hundreds or thousands of staff members, HubSpot Business Services should be your first stop. These services include standard monthly billing plans priced starting at $29/user/month. As HubSpot grows, prices eventually increase accordingly. Most of the basic options listed below come with unlimited bandwidth usage meaning you won't be charged extra for exceeding your allocated amount of incoming connections. Advanced accounts on the other hand require payment for additional outgoing internet requests. Please note that pricing differs slightly between countries and regions.

Enterprise Cloud Hosting: Designed exclusively for larger scale enterprises, HubSpot Enterprise cloud hosting comes in two forms. First is Reseller Plus which grants subscribers limited control over servers while supporting advanced security measures. Second is Partner Pro which gives partners complete ownership over hardware resources but requires direct support from HubSpot. Prices start at $79 / month.

HubSpot has become one of the leading SaaS companies in recent years. They're an online marketing software company that focuses on providing tools for small businesses to help them grow their business through digital channels like social media, email, etc. The main thing they focus on is helping small to medium-sized businesses (or SMB) manage all aspects of their online presence from a single location. They also have a free plan that allows users to get started with as little as $25 per month. Their pricing plans start at $19/month after your first 30 days.

In this article, I'll explain how HubSpot works, why it's so popular, and more importantly, what problem it solves. If you want to learn more about the features offered by HubSpot, check out our detailed review.

What problems does HubSpot solve?

Let me tell you straight away, there isn't really such a thing as "just" using HubSpot. It will change many things about the way you work. For example, if you currently use Google Analytics or another analytics tool, then switching over to HubSpot can be beneficial because it integrates directly into Salesforce. This means you won't only see data coming from your website but other parts of your organization too.

Another big reason people choose HubSpot is due to its mobile app. You don't always have access to internet when working remotely or traveling abroad. With HubSpot offering both desktop and web apps, you can easily stay connected regardless where you go.

What are the benefits of HubSpot?

The biggest advantage of HubSpot is undoubtedly ease of management. When running multiple websites, managing content updates across various platforms becomes extremely difficult. There are hundreds of plugins available for WordPress which allow you to integrate third party applications seamlessly. But once again, since these plugins aren't integrated within the core system itself, keeping track of changes made from each plugin can be hard. That's why most SEOs who run several sites prefer HubSpot instead.

But apart from that, here are some additional advantages of HubSpot:

It provides you with lots of reports based on metrics ranging from traffic sources to conversion rates. Its reporting feature is great for tracking performance without needing any technical expertise.

You can create automated emails whenever someone signs up for your service or subscribes to your newsletter. You can even set up autoresponder messages that automatically send personalized greetings according to user preferences.

Its real time chat feature lets you communicate instantly with customers via live chats and video calls.

With HubSpot CRM integration, you can connect your customer database with CRM. So every time someone signs up for your service, information gets updated in your CRM account immediately.

If you sell products online, HubSpot has easy checkout solutions built right into their payment gateway. No matter how much trust you build with clients, having secure transactions is essential when selling online. A lot of ecommerce sellers find themselves struggling to keep credit card details safe while others struggle to accept payments. Both of those issues go away with HubSpot since they offer custom branded gateways specifically designed for your needs.

There are plenty of reasons why HubSpot attracts new users everyday. And if you've been looking around for a solution similar to HubSpot, well...don't! HubSpot offers tons of useful features to improve your sales cycle and boost ROI.

What is the benefit of HubSpot?

So now you know what problems HubSpot solves and what benefits it brings along, let's take a look at what sets it aside from competitors. Here are three major factors that make HubSpot stand above the crowd:

1.) Easy setup & customization - Since HubSpot uses SalesForce as a backend, setting up your accounts and campaigns couldn't be easier than dragging and dropping fields. Once done, you're ready to roll out your campaign.

2.) Social Media Marketing Integration - With HubSpot, you can effectively monitor the success of your campaign using Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Instagram Followers, LinkedIn Growth, Pinterest Pins, YouTube Views, etc. All of these tools come together under the same roof allowing you see how effective each channel is separately.

3.) Email Marketing Management - Using HubSpot's powerful email editor, you can design professional newsletters and promotional announcements that convert better than ever before. Apart from being able to customize templates, you can also schedule automatic drip email marketing systems to deliver relevant content to prospects regularly.

As mentioned earlier, there are countless reasons why HubSpot is gaining popularity among entrepreneurs worldwide. Even though HubSpot might seem quite complicated at first glance, once you dive deeper into its functionalities you realize just how simple yet powerful it actually is. As long as you stick to HubSpot's basic principles, you'll never feel overwhelmed by the complexity of its interface.

To give you an idea of how complex HubSpot looks, the screenshot below shows the dashboard screen. From left to right, you can notice different tabs including Traffic Sources, Leads, Campaigns, Content Creation, CRM, Reports, Integrations, etc.:

What makes HubSpot different?

Now that you understand what HubSpot is, here are two questions you should ask yourself: Is HubSpot worth paying for? What makes HubSpot unique compared to its competitors? To answer the first question, yes, definitely. HubSpot comes equipped with thousands of customizable templates, advanced automation features, and high quality support services. On top of that, the price remains stable no matter how many employees you add to your team. Lastly, since HubSpot is cloud-based, you pay for hosting only rather than buying expensive hardware.

Aside from answering whether or not you should signup for HubSpot, the next important question is what makes HubSpot different from the rest. Below are four key elements that separate HubSpot from the competition:

1.) Visualize Your Data Easily - One of the best ways to visualize your data is creating charts. Although many marketers rely heavily on spreadsheets, visual representation is the future of data analysis. Luckily, HubSpot gives you the option to view your statistics visually. Whether you're interested in seeing trends over time or comparing results between different segments, HubSpot is capable of generating beautiful graphs and charts. Aside from displaying standard pie and bar graphs, you can also compare two datasets side by side.

Here's a quick demo showing how this function works:

2.) Automate Everything - At present, everyone wants to save money wherever possible. Unfortunately, doing manual tasks doesn't earn us anything except lost hours spent staring at computer screens. Fortunately, HubSpot excels at automating repetitive tasks. By connecting your HubSpot Account with Zapier, you can leverage the power of Zaps to automate processes. For example, you could write code in Python to scrape data from specific pages and import them into a spreadsheet. Or perhaps you'd like to automatically upload images captured by a webcam onto Dropbox. These actions can happen quickly and efficiently thanks to Zapier.

3.) Get Real Time Visibility - Being aware of your audience behavior is critical to improving conversions. However, getting an overview of your visitors' activities can sometimes prove challenging. Thanks to HubSpot's multi-channel monitoring functionality, you can gain instant visibility of your visitor activity across devices. Notifications regarding lead capture forms, site visits, page views, etc., show up in real time. All you have to do is log into your Dashboard and click 'Get Started'.

4.) Connect Multiple Systems Together - While HubSpot's own product may serve as a central hub for your entire operation, you shouldn't limit yourself to using only it either. Instead, you should consider integrating HubSpot with other reputable systems such as Mailchimp, Stripe, PayPal, Drip, InfusionSoft, GoDaddy SSL, etc. Doing so would allow you to increase efficiency while simultaneously saving money.

Looking back at my explanation of HubSpot, you'll notice that despite being relatively sophisticated, it still manages to provide a clean and straightforward UI. Whenever you open the application, you feel like you already know what to do. Overall, HubSpot feels less intimidating than other providers in terms of learning curve. Plus, the fact that it's 100% cloud-based eliminates worries surrounding server downtime.

Is HubSpot perfect? Of course not. It's far from flawless and certainly lacks certain features found elsewhere. For instance, there's no API integration available for developers. Also, HubSpot's lack of native Android and iOS apps limits accessibility. Lastly, HubSpot hasn't released a Mac version yet although they claim to be developing one soon. Despite these shortcomings, HubSpot continues to expand rapidly. Therefore, it's clear that it's going to remain competitive for years to come.

Are you considering signing up for HubSpot? If so, share your thoughts and opinions with us in the comments section below. We hope you enjoyed reading this article and learned something valuable.

If you're looking into using a marketing automation tool like HubSpot but aren't quite sure where it fits in your business strategy or how it works, then maybe I can help shed some light on why HubSpot is such an attractive option. Here's my brief overview of what HubSpot actually does. If you want more details, check out their site here.

HubSpot main purpose is to provide companies with a powerful CRM (customer relationship management) solution that helps them manage leads, sales teams, customers, and partners. It allows businesses to integrate all relevant data across multiple systems—including email, social media, website visitor tracking, etc. With HubSpot's robust analytics tools, you'll gain access to reports, graphs, charts, and other visual representations of various metrics. This makes the entire process much easier than ever before.

In addition to providing users with a variety of features, there are also plenty of third-party apps available which allow users to customize HubSpot as per their individual needs. As an example, many small businesses will find themselves needing to create follow up emails after they've sent initial contact forms. HubSpot offers a feature called Follow Ups & Reminders which lets you send automated messages that remind people to return those contact forms.

Another app that has been highly successful within the HubSpot community is known as Lyris. The software was originally developed by one company named Lyrici, who had received funding from Sequoia Capital back in 2006. Since being acquired by Salesforce, Lyris now powers over 20 million customer interactions every month. So if you've got any interest at all in leveraging the power of technology to increase your own profits, Lyris may be worth exploring further.

So while HubSpot covers a lot of ground when it comes to automating communications between clients and businesses, let's take a closer look at what differentiates it from competitors.

What is HubSpot mainly used for?

The first thing you might ask yourself is "what kind of services does HubSpot offer?" To answer this question, we should probably start off by taking a quick glance through their list of offerings.

Here's just a few examples of the wide range of products offered by HubSpot:

Lead nurturing/management: One of the most common applications of HubSpot is lead generation. Whether it's via content marketing strategies or simply sending out regular newsletters, HubSpot provides a complete suite of solutions for marketers interested in growing their client base. You have access to realtime reporting, segmentation options, integration with Google Analytics, web form creation, and even AWeber support. There really isn't anything else quite like this in terms of automation and flexibility.

Email marketing: Another huge aspect of HubSpot involves email marketing campaigns. From setting up drip campaigns to scheduling autoresponder sequences, HubSpot gives business owners total control over managing these kinds of communications. Users can also set up personalization triggers based around specific user profiles. For instance, if someone signs into your account, you could automatically greet them with your favorite quote.

Social Media Management: Marketing automation tools like HubSpot often come equipped with integrated social media platforms. Not only is it easy to schedule posts and updates directly from inside the dashboard itself, but it's also possible to easily monitor and track engagement levels. If you run a Facebook page, Twitter profile, LinkedIn group, Instagram account, Pinterest board, YouTube channel, Tumblr, Snapchat, or Medium account, HubSpot can handle it for you.

Customer service: When running any sort of business, having effective communication channels is crucial. That goes double when dealing with sensitive issues, especially considering how quickly things move online nowadays. By utilizing HubSpot, you get to streamline processes across several departments without breaking the bank.

Sales Automation: Once again, focusing primarily on generating new leads, sales force productivity plays a big role in determining whether or not HubSpot suits your needs. After all, no amount of fancy graphics and clever copywriting can make up for ineffective sales reps. Fortunately, HubSpot has built an extensive library of prebuilt templates designed specifically for certain industries. These can save time for both employees and managers alike.

Content Creation: Creating engaging and informative pieces of work takes considerable effort. Luckily, HubSpot offers a number of useful resources for writers looking to improve their craft. They include video editing software, image editors, PDF conversion services, audio recording, and free eBooks.

What do you use HubSpot for?

As previously mentioned, HubSpot serves a multitude of purposes depending on the type of business you operate. But regardless of industry, everyone experiences similar challenges when trying to generate leads.

According to HubSpot, approximately 80% of B2B buyers experience buyer's remorse once they sign a contract. And that percentage doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon. So rather than wasting hours searching through endless websites wondering what you'd love to buy, why don't you try something simple yet revolutionary instead? Enter HubSpot!

It's important to note that HubSpot wasn't always such a well-known name. Back in 2001, founder Dharmesh Shah started working full-time on his idea for a better way to market businesses using the Internet. His vision eventually came true when he launched HubSpot in 2003. Nowadays, millions of businesses worldwide rely on HubSpot to automate and optimize their overall lead-generation efforts.

But HubSpot isn't just good because of how reliable it is. It's also great thanks to how flexible it is. While traditional methods involve hiring lots of expensive consultants or buying loads of complicated software, HubSpot operates on a model that's completely hands off. No matter what size your budget happens to be, HubSpot can accommodate anyone.

Who is HubSpot best for?

Anyone who wants to grow their business faster than ever before. Especially since HubSpot integrates seamlessly with almost every major cloud provider today. Thanks to HubSpot's scalability, nearly anyone can enjoy the benefits of marketing automation. Even startups and smaller organizations can benefit tremendously from its cost-effective pricing plans.

And as far as ROI goes, HubSpot says that 90 percent of its users report improved revenues due to increased productivity. Considering the fact that HubSpot is already used by more than 1 billion consumers, it's safe to say that many businesses would never survive long enough to see another competitor rise above them.

Why is HubSpot so popular?

While HubSpot certainly deserves praise for making the world of business more streamlined, efficient, and productive, perhaps the biggest reason why it's become so widely accepted is because of how accessible it is.

By creating an intuitive interface that's easy to navigate, HubSpot aims to bring simplicity back to digital marketing. Rather than being filled with confusing menus and unnecessary buttons, HubSpot stays focused on delivering results. Its sleek design is reminiscent of iOS 10, and for good reason. Just think about how much smoother and less cluttered modern smartphones tend to feel compared to older versions!
