Anyone else would just click "Skip."

With this tool, you can search through millions of profiles from within the app itself, find prospects based on specific criteria (such as job title or company name) and then send them messages directly from within the app without having to log into another service first.

It's a powerful tool, but how exactly does it work? What does it mean when it says someone on LinkedIn viewed your profile? Is it possible that they could have seen something else? How can you know whether someone has actually looked at your profile? Does LinkedIn always display who looked?

What does it mean when it says someone on LinkedIn viewed your profile?

When someone views your profile on LinkedIn, it doesn't necessarily mean they've liked it or even read it. They might be just browsing through the site, seeing which profiles interest them. Or maybe they're searching for jobs and saw yours among the results.

In any case, when you get a notification that someone on LinkedIn has clicked on your profile, it's because they've opened your page. If they'd already visited your profile before clicking the link, it would say "viewed" instead of "clicked" when they did.
