What happens when someone fills out a HubSpot form?

What happens when someone fills out a HubSpot form?

If you're like most small business owners, the idea of putting together an effective landing page for new visitors is intimidating and overwhelming. But don't worry! There's no need to be intimidated by creating a stunning-looking website or marketing collateral that converts prospects into paying customers.

Hubspot has simplified this process with its easy drag-and-drop builder tool called Forms. The free version allows users to create customizable templates based on popular industry formats such as ecommerce, event registration, surveys, lead capture pages, etc. By adding content sections from these pre-built templates, it’s possible to build beautiful forms without any HTML coding knowledge required.

So what exactly does this mean for me if my company uses HubSpot Forms? Well, first off -- we all know that everyone can benefit from having a killer looking site (or at least one). And secondly, every time anyone enters information into our forms, they get automatically notified to us via email. This means we have instant access to their responses which also gives us insight into who our target audience may be.

Here's where Form Builder comes in handy. If you already use HubSpot CRM software, then you've likely noticed that whenever you send emails over to contacts, those recipients will receive automatic follow ups reminding them about upcoming events or product launches. Now imagine if HubSpot sent similar automated notification messages whenever someone filled out one of your forms instead? Wouldn't that be incredible?!

In order to accomplish this goal, we'll make sure to add some custom fields within each form so that once the user hits "Send," our system knows whether it should send the message right away or wait until later. Then, we'll simply take advantage of the built-in scheduler function that sends these forms out periodically throughout the day according to a schedule we determine.

This way, your team won't even notice that people are filling out forms because your entire staff gets alerted immediately once someone takes action. Here's how you can start making use of this feature today...

Where do HubSpot form submissions go?

When sending out a form through HubSpot, there are two ways for people to enter data into your forms. You could either type directly onto the webform itself, or upload files using the file attachment option. So let's say your event registration form asks for personal details but doesn't include room numbers. Instead of typing these manually, the easiest way would be to attach a spreadsheet containing all of the pertinent information.

First things first, log into your account (if necessary), click on Forms under My Dashboard. In the upper left corner of this screen, you'll see a list of available templates. To select a template, just hover over it and look for the green button labeled Select Template. When selecting a specific template, be sure not to accidentally pick another template entirely.

Once selected, the next step is to choose which section(s) within the template you want to modify. Let's assume you only wanted to change the Event Registration part of the template. Once you click on Edit Section, you'll see several different options pop up. From here you can edit text boxes, images, buttons, tabs, charts, tables, and more. Just keep in mind that anything outside of the standard field types isn't supported. However, you can still upload documents, photos, videos, spreadsheets, and other media using the Attach File button.

For instance, let's say you want to display multiple pictures within your form. On the image tab, scroll down until you see the Upload Files section. Clicking this icon opens up a popup window allowing you to browse your computer for a photo. Next, open up the picture you'd like to insert and hit Open. Finally, click on Choose Photo below the box. Your uploaded photo will show up within the form after hitting Send.

Now that you understand how to customize templates in general, lets move onto setting up form alerts.

How do I find form submissions?

The best place to search for submitted forms is through your HubSpot inbox since the link attached to form requests will always appear within the body of your response email. Each incoming request includes helpful information including date/time stamp, recipient name, subject line, and comment area.

To view all recent submissions, head back to your dashboard and navigate to the Forms tab. Under Recent Submissions, you'll see a calendar displaying dates upon which certain forms were recently sent. Simply click on the desired date range to review all submitted records. This is especially useful for identifying patterns among clients who fill out the same forms repeatedly. It might be worth noting that you can filter results by clicking on View Filters next to the Calendar heading.

Another great resource for finding form submissions is the Reports tab. Within this section, you'll see many reports related to various areas of interest. For example, if you prefer to track leads rather than form submissions, navigating to Leads Overview will reveal all instances where someone entered data into your form. Likewise, if you wish to focus solely on forms, select Only Submit History underneath the header titled All Records.

As mentioned earlier, anytime someone completes a form, they'll receive an immediate alert. Since we added custom fields to each form, we now have the ability to distinguish between completed forms versus uncompleted ones. For instance, if you run an online store, you could design a special discount coupon exclusively for consumers who complete the Contact Us form. Then, you can sort all future orders by customer status and assign a higher price point to items purchased from inactive subscribers.

Where are forms located in HubSpot?

There are three main places where forms exist within HubSpot accounts: Templates, Sections, and Modules.

Templates contain pre-designed layouts that allow businesses to quickly develop attractive websites, sales pitches, newsletters, and more. They consist of many different themes ranging from commerce to education. As previously stated, there are hundreds of different templates available for download, meaning your choice of layout shouldn't pose much difficulty.

Sections refer to individual segments within a given template. If you decide to delete a particular section, you must remove ALL of its contents before removing it altogether. Otherwise, you risk breaking whatever links are embedded within the deleted section. Therefore, try to avoid deleting sections unless absolutely necessary.

Modules serve as smaller building blocks for templates. These can be used individually or incorporated into larger projects. Like sections, modules aren't meant to be modified in anyway except for editing existing text. Unlike sections, however, modules cannot be removed outright. Modules are often utilized to highlight important features of a given theme. For instance, you might employ a module to showcase testimonials from previous customers. Or perhaps you want to embed a map showing nearby locations. Both scenarios require little effort compared to building complex designs.

Finally, remember that you can easily copy existing sections and modules and paste them elsewhere. This makes it very convenient for modifying existing themes while saving you valuable development hours.

How do I submit form data to HubSpot?

Submitting form data to HubSpot requires slightly more technical expertise since there are unique methods involved. Luckily though, it's pretty simple and straightforward. First off, you'll need to ensure that both the sender ID and receiver IDs match up correctly. If you ever come across problems during setup, ask your support representative for help troubleshooting.

Next, visit Settings & Integrations within Account " Integration Center. Scroll down to the bottom portion of this menu and locate Add New Service. Hit Create New Service and choose WebForm Submission. Fill in all requested information including service URL, description, consumer key, secret, authentication method, post variables, and API Token. Afterward, you'll see a short preview detailing the parameters needed to configure this integration properly.

Afterwards, hit Save Changes. A few moments later, you'll receive an email stating that the integration was successful. Upon clicking the confirmation link, you'll be taken to a second screen explaining the exact steps required to integrate this service into your workflow. Please note that HubSpot recommends checking out third party services that offer additional functionality, such as integrating Google Analytics.

That being said, HubSpot offers plenty of flexibility regarding the number of services you can connect simultaneously. Unfortunately, there are limitations that prevent us from connecting too many integrations at once. We recommend keeping fewer connections active at a time to reduce errors. If you need to increase your limit, talk to your Support Representative so they can update your current settings accordingly.

HubSpot offers several different types of customizable, online marketing tools that are easy for businesses and entrepreneurs to use. One such tool called Form Builder allows users with little or no design knowledge to create visually appealing landing pages. It also features an intuitive drag-and-drop editor where you can customize all aspects of each page including colors, fonts, images, videos, etc., as well as integrate it into other platforms like Google Ads, Facebook ads, and more. However, there's another feature offered by HubSpot which could be even better than this — forms! If you've never heard about them before, they're just what they sound like — a way for customers (or clients) to fill out a simple questionnaire on a website. But once you see people filling out these forms, you'll wonder why you didn't think of doing so sooner.

I have been looking at HubSpot for quite some time now and I really haven't found any good tutorials related to their forms until recently. So, if you want to know exactly how to submit information from a form on HubSpot then read below.

What is the advantage of using a form HubSpot?

There are many advantages to having forms on websites, but not everyone knows how to go about creating them. In addition, most beginners don't understand how to make sure those who filled out said forms get something back. This process will help you do both things.

Firstly, let me tell you why anyone would need to sign up for a HubSpot account to begin with. If you own a business, chances are high you already have a list of contacts ready to send emails to. However, sending bulk messages via email isn't always efficient due to spam filters. HubSpot solves this problem by allowing companies to communicate directly with potential leads through personalized newsletters sent only to them.

Secondly, it's important to note that while HubSpot has its fair share of critics, it does offer quality products at affordable prices, especially considering the amount of services available to newbies. The best part of all is that you don't have to pay anything extra to access their services after signing up for free accounts.

Now, moving onto the actual tutorial. Let's say you have created a lead capture page for your company offering a discount coupon code. You may decide to test your sales funnel by asking a few questions regarding the subject matter. Once they provide answers to your questions, you might ask them whether they'd like to receive further updates about your product line. Then you simply direct them to enter their details to proceed with the registration process. Afterward, you'll receive notification whenever someone completes the form.

In order to configure your settings, head over to Settings " Integration & Integrations " Contact Manager. From here, select Email Notification under Send To Me/My Team. Choose Create New Subscription based on the type of form you used. Now, everytime someone enters his personal info into the form, he'll automatically subscribe to receiving future communications from your team without ever knowing.

Are HubSpot Forms secure?

A lot of people still aren't comfortable with submitting sensitive information on public forums. Although Hubspot makes it very convenient for us to input our details without worrying about security threats, we shouldn't forget that hackers are lurking around waiting to steal our identities. Therefore, it's imperative that you update your passwords regularly and keep track of suspicious activities that occur on your devices.

To ensure your safety, HubSpot utilizes 256bit SSL encryption technology to safeguard your data during transmission. Furthermore, because everything takes place on servers hosted within secure datacenters, nobody except HubSpot employees themselves can view your confidential information.

Another thing worth mentioning is that if you choose not to store your information on HubSpot's servers, you won't have access to it either. Instead, you must transfer the files yourself using USB drives or CD-ROMs. And since HubSpot doesn't allow third parties to handle user information, you should rest assured that nothing bad will happen to it.

Lastly, HubSpot provides detailed instructions for setting up two-factor authentication for additional protection.

Is HubSpot safe?

As mentioned earlier, HubSpot has received mixed reviews from various sources. Some people claim that it lacks flexibility and customization options. Others complain about slow loading speeds and poor customer support. While others yet criticize its lack of integration with popular social media sites like Instagram.

But regardless of what you think, HubSpot is actually fairly reliable and effective. What separates it from other similar programs is its ability to connect with multiple apps and services simultaneously. For example, you can add links to your blog posts right inside your HubSpot form instead of copying and pasting them manually. Another great feature is the possibility to embed YouTube videos directly into your custom lead capture page.

Furthermore, you can easily interact with existing customers by adding comments fields and live chat buttons right on top of the form itself.

Where is your form submission data stored in HubSpot?

Once you complete the steps above, you'll notice that your newly generated subscription link appears next to your name. Clicking on it will take you straight to your Contact Center dashboard where you can monitor the progress of the subscriber along with her previous responses.

Additionally, you can check out the number of subscribers you currently have, the average conversion rate, and much more. There, you can also find a history of your interactions with them.

The last step towards making your forms useful is to start collecting names, phone numbers, addresses, etc., so you can eventually follow up with prospects later on.

For reference purposes, here are the basic steps required to save a completed form from the dashboard:

Click Add Submission Link beneath the title of the specific form.

Select Save Your Work.

From here, you can edit your work anytime you wish. Simply click Edit underneath My Submissions. Alternatively, you can delete particular submissions by clicking Delete underneath All Your Submissions.

After completing all the necessary tasks, you'll notice a green tick appear beside your profile picture. That means you successfully integrated your forms into your HubSpot workflow!

Have fun experimenting with forms on HubSpot!

HubSpot offers its customers a variety of solutions, from marketing automation software and CRM tools to e-commerce websites and landing pages. In addition to these features, it also provides tools for lead capture, website hosting, content creation, etc., so that companies can create their own custom offerings. However, there are some people who use HubSpot's services without having any idea about what they actually offer or how they work. This article will shed light on this particular feature by explaining HubSpot Forms. It'll then show you exactly what happens when someone completes a HubSpot Form.

What is the advantage of using a form HubSpot certification?

Creating an effective email newsletter requires more than just sending emails. If you want your subscribers' attention, you have to make sure your messages stand out in order to get them read. One way to do this is by adding images, videos, interactive elements, and other media into your newsletters. But if you don't know where to start with designing those things, all you need now is something like HubSpot Forms. These forms allow users to fill in fields that contain text boxes, files uploads, checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdowns, datepickers, image galleries, and even voice recordings. You can add questions that require multiple answers as well. Once filled, these questionnaires serve as leads for your business, allowing you to collect data via email or SMS.

The good thing about HubSpot forms is that you only pay for the ones that generate leads. For example, suppose you've created an online quiz that asks visitors to answer several questions regarding their career preferences. When they complete it, they'll receive a message asking them whether they'd be interested in learning more about certain positions within your company. They may choose "Yes" or "No," depending upon which option they prefer. Then, based on their choice, you would send them information pertaining to that position, such as job description, salary range, educational requirements, etc. All you need to do after creating the survey is share it on social networks, post it on blogs, or distribute it through email campaigns. The best part is that once a visitor completes the survey, you won't incur additional costs since you're not charged per completed questionnaire but rather per new subscriber.

So far we've discussed why you should consider using HubSpot Forms. Now let’s see what it looks like.

What can HubSpot forms do?

There are two types of HubSpot forms - standard and popup. Standard forms open in separate windows while popup forms appear in layers (similar to how Photoshop works). As mentioned earlier, both of these options allow users to fill in various sections such as name, address, phone number, email addresses, gender, birthday, location, occupation, etc. Both standard forms and popup forms also include sections for uploading documents and pictures, filling in lists, selecting yes/no responses, inserting dates, entering numbers, and recording audio.

Another important aspect worth mentioning is that HubSpot allows users to customize the look of their forms. Not only does this help improve user experience, but it also helps increase conversion rates thanks to increased usability.

For instance, if you run a retail store selling clothing items, you could design each item page with a different color scheme that reflects its category. Meanwhile, if you sell vehicles, you might give each vehicle model a unique background and font colors. Also, you could add banners at the top or bottom of the screen, highlight special deals, and provide links to related products. On the other hand, if you run a restaurant, you could place photos of food items next to menu choices, showcase specials, and promote current events.

Lastly, HubSpot lets you adjust the behavior of your forms according to your preference. You can control everything from enabling auto-redirect to changing the default language used during form submissions.

Now that we’ve seen what it really takes to create a great HubSpot form, it's time to find out what happens when someone fills one out.

What is a pop up form HubSpot?

A Popup form usually appears over another web application window. After being displayed, it disappears automatically after 5 seconds unless the user clicks anywhere outside of the popup box. To prevent distractions, most browsers block access to tabs except for the tab containing the popup form. Another key point to note is that unlike standard forms, you can embed a popup form inside a blog post, forum thread, Facebook Page Post, LinkedIn profile, YouTube video, Twitter tweet, Instagram story, Google search results, Pinterest pin, and Snapchat Story.

When someone opens an embedded link, he doesn't have to exit the site before completing the form because the popup form gets closed immediately. While a person has no difficulty navigating away from the website to close the browser itself, he faces difficulties doing so when trying to navigate away from a popup form.

In short, a popup form resembles a mini app, meaning that it stays active until the user closes it. Therefore, anyone viewing the webpage that contains the popup form might think twice about closing it right away due to fear of losing unsaved information.

As previously stated, HubSpot offers many customization options. Besides adjusting appearance settings and controlling form behaviors, you can also decide to display questions randomly. There are numerous ways to change a form's layout, including rearranging questions within individual panels, moving entire groups around, resizing columns, hiding widgets, etc.

You can also integrate third-party apps into your forms, including Zapier, Slack, Salesforce, Discord, GitHub, Zendesk, PayPal Pro, Mailchimp, Feedly, etc. Furthermore, you can easily export your forms and reuse them across platforms.

Can you style HubSpot forms?

HubSpot makes it easy for stylists, designers, developers, marketers, copywriters, editors, writers, and others involved in creative projects to build stunning designs while maintaining strict branding guidelines. Unlike WordPress themes, however, HubSpot forms come with predefined layouts, making it easier for nontechnical individuals to personalize them. Plus, you can save your customized versions locally instead of modifying every single version whenever changes occur.

To make your forms look better, you can apply visual effects, change background colors, replace fonts, remove sidebars, insert logos, and much more. Like HTML code, you can edit CSS properties directly within the editor. And since HubSpot supports responsive design, you can scale images and texts accordingly regardless of device size.

On the whole, HubSpot Forms offer a lot of flexibility that enables you to create engaging forms without writing complex coding scripts. Moreover, it comes with intuitive drag & drop editing capabilities and smart suggestions that help users avoid mistakes. With HubSpot's assistance, you can take your business to the next level.
