What is LinkedIn unlimited people browsing?
One of the biggest draws of LinkedIn is the ability to browse through millions of profiles without having to type out someone's full name every time. You'll be able to see who they work with, their education history, previous jobs and much more by simply typing in keywords like "CEO" or "marketing manager." This feature is called People Browsing.
There is also another way to use LinkedIn's People Browsing feature -- by searching people based on specific criteria. For example, let's say you wanted to find someone within 20 miles of your current location who works in marketing. To do this, just enter the keyword "Marketing Manager," followed by the city or town where you live, and hit Search. Now, you will have found yourself a list of people in your area who fit the bill! If these people aren't already connected to you, no problem. Just click Connect & Invite Them and follow the instructions provided. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
How do I get more LinkedIn searches?
As mentioned above, LinkedIn gives you free access to People Browsing. However, if you really want to take advantage of this tool, there are some ways you can increase the number of results you receive depending on how often you log into LinkedIn. The first option is to create a custom URL shortener which allows you to send those links straight to your phone, tablet, laptop, etc. This way, you can quickly check out who lives near you to see if any of them might be a good potential hire.
The next step would be to upgrade your account to Business Pro, which costs $499 per year. Once again, this isn't necessary for everyone, but if you're serious about building a brand online, working remotely, or doing freelance gigs, getting paid to promote your skillset, and connecting with other professionals in your industry, then upgrading to Business Pro is a worthwhile investment.
You should note though that once you reach Level 3 (which requires $1,000 USD), LinkedIn will begin charging you extra fees to continue using most of its services. At this point, you may choose to either cancel your subscription altogether or switch to a cheaper plan that still offers all of the same perks.

Does LinkedIn limit your searches?
Yes, unfortunately, LinkedIn does indeed limit the amount of information you can view on a single profile page. In order to access more detailed information regarding a particular individual, you must scroll down the screen and click on their picture. While this sounds annoying, it's actually pretty easy to deal with because the majority of LinkedIn users will never venture past their own profile pages anyway.
However, if you're the kind of person who likes to look at hundreds of profiles simultaneously, you will likely run into issues. Luckily, there are a few solutions available to help alleviate this issue. One solution is to download the official LinkedIn Mobile app. Not only will this allow you to easily navigate and scan hundreds of profiles on the go, but you will also be able to filter your results by job title, company size, role, industry, and age range.
Another helpful tip would be to utilize the Advanced Findings section located under the Profile tab. By clicking on this dropdown menu, you will be presented with several filters including the following:

Once you select a given field, LinkedIn will show you all of the relevant results that match your chosen criterion. How many times can you search people on LinkedIn?
On average, you can search 1 million profiles per month. That's assuming you're logged in daily and only viewing your own profile. However, keep in mind that you cannot perform multiple simultaneous searches in the same browser window. Meaning, if you open five tabs at once and attempt to conduct five separate searches, none of them will produce any results.
That being said, you can still search 5 million profiles at any given moment by logging in via your desktop computer instead. Simply visit LinkedIn.com, click Sign In, and login with your credentials. Then, you can search through 5 million profiles from your desktop computer.

What is the difference between LinkedIn Premium career and business?
The two tiers of membership on LinkedIn are called Career and Business. While both allow you to connect with professionals outside of your personal network, the differences lie mainly in terms of the number of connections you can add each year and the level of access you get to certain content within the app itself. For instance, the main reason you'd join LinkedIn Premium rather than Basic is because you need more space for contacts, but Premium also gives you access to tools like the Advanced Search option and customized recommendations. These tools will help you target specific types of jobs or professions that interest you without being limited by your current location. In addition, you'll receive notifications whenever someone adds you to their network, giving you the opportunity to contact them directly instead of waiting for them to reach out to you. While Premium lets you see your profile stats across all networks, including your own, Business allows you to view statistics only for your primary network. There's no limit placed on the total number of profiles you can create, either.
What are the benefits of premium LinkedIn?
As mentioned above, the biggest advantage of joining LinkedIn Premium comes down to customization. This includes changing things like your photo, cover photo, headline, background image, logo, bio box, display picture, header text, and signature. One feature that might appeal to a lot of people is the ability to customize your profile page. As part of the upgraded experience, you can select a unique URL link for your profile that automatically redirects anyone visiting it to your actual profile. You can also change the look of your profile entirely by adding photos and videos, creating lists, sharing links, and writing blog posts. It can take a little bit of work to set everything up just right, but the end result is definitely worth it. Another bonus is that you won't have to worry about losing your account details if you ever forget your password. Your entire profile history will always remain accessible.
If you've never tried LinkedIn before, you probably haven't heard of LinkedIn Pulse yet. Launched in 2017, Pulse is a news-focused section of the site where publishers share stories related to topics they feel are important to their audience. The best part is that you can follow a particular publication's Pulse feed and read updates published by writers you trust. If you're looking to stay informed without having to spend hours searching for information elsewhere, this is a great feature to check out.
How many searches can you do on LinkedIn premium?
It depends on the type of search you conduct, but according to LinkedIn, you can perform anywhere from 50 million to 100 million searches annually. However, depending on which version of LinkedIn you subscribe to, you'll only be allowed to save results from five separate queries at a time.

Samantha Jain, Founder & Chief Marketing Officer of Linkedin Talent Solutions, explains that she believes Premium offers plenty of value for jobseekers who already have strong connections on the platform. She notes that while Premium isn't necessary for newcomers, it's helpful for experienced members who want to learn more about how to optimize their profiles and tailor their messages to potential employers.
However, if you're not planning on expanding your professional network beyond the confines of your existing circle of friends and family, then perhaps you shouldn't bother with Premium. Jain says that you should focus on building rapport with people in your everyday life instead of trying to impress strangers. Ultimately, you can accomplish this goal by simply sending messages asking people how they're doing and talking about yourself instead of focusing solely on how your skillset compares to theirs.
Natalie Luecke, Owner of NLP Coach Natalie Luecke, agrees with Jain and suggests that if you can't afford Premium, it might be worthwhile to wait until you achieve success on the platform. Once your reputation begins to grow and you begin receiving invitations to events and opportunities, it's easier to convince prospective clients to hire you on a freelance basis. Until then, it makes sense to put your energy into developing a solid presence on LinkedIn.
Of course, there are pros and cons to working remotely, so even if you don't think you'll be ready to start accepting freelance gigs anytime soon, you should consider starting small. Try setting aside 10 minutes every morning to log onto LinkedIn and send out a couple of messages requesting feedback from your peers. Even if nothing comes of it, you'll be able to gauge how confident you seem during interactions with recruiters. From there, you can slowly ramp up your schedule until you're comfortable taking on larger projects.

In addition to these changes, LinkedIn also launched a new Job Search feature called Premium Careers last month which allows users to search for jobs by company size, industry and location as well as filter out companies who are not hiring.
The company claims it can save time when searching for a job because of its ability to target people within an organization rather than just searching through all of their connections. "We know that many professionals look at LinkedIn to explore potential employment," said Kevin O'Connor, Senior Product Manager at LinkedIn. "Now they'll have a better way to do so."
LinkedIn says this new tool will be available to everyone starting May 1st but will only apply to job searches conducted via LinkedIn itself - meaning if you want to use the service while working from home, you won't be able to take advantage of this new feature.
"This was one of our top requests from our members," added O'Conner. "They wanted to see this functionality directly integrated into their LinkedIn experience."
As part of the launch, LinkedIn also released a free app called LinkedIn Recruiter that helps businesses post jobs for recruiters to see. The idea here being that employers should reach out to candidates using LinkedIn's network instead of traditional channels like Craigslist or Monster.com.
While this may sound great, there's no guarantee that those posting on LinkedIn actually read profiles before reaching out to someone.
