Where is sales navigator on LinkedIn app?

Where is sales navigator on LinkedIn app?

LinkedIn's new mobile-only version of its professional networking platform launched in September 2018 with a focus on improving user experience through an enhanced design and integration with other platforms like Facebook Messenger for fast communication between users. The company has also made some changes to improve navigation, including adding a "Sales Navigator" feature that helps you find colleagues who can help solve problems or get things done faster.

If you're wondering where all this new functionality comes from -- and why it exists at all -- here are answers to common questions about LinkedIn Sales Navigator, which includes both free and paid versions. You'll also read about what makes the service different than the standard LinkedIn profile page.

Why is my sales Navigator not working?

The first thing you should know is that there are two types of Sales Navigators available today. If you have access to either LinkedIn Premium (paid) or Business Premium (free), then you will automatically be granted access to LinkedIn Sales Navigator when it launches later this year. However, if you don't have one of these accounts yet, you won't be able to purchase one until after the launch. Even if you already have a subscription plan, you may need to upgrade before you can start using Sales Navigator.

Here's how to check whether you've got a premium account and if so, how to upgrade:

Click Settings & Services in the upper right corner on your profile page.

Select Account settings under Your Profile.

Scroll down to Advanced Features and click Edit next to Upgrade now. A prompt will appear asking you if you want to pay $19 USD per month or $199 USD annually. Click Pay Now if you would like to make payments via PayPal, Amazon Payments, Google Wallet, Apple iTunes Store, or Microsoft Xbox Live Gold. Then select Confirm to proceed.

Once payment completes successfully, log back into your account and navigate to My Apps & Experiences. From there, you can view any apps currently active within your account, such as LinkedIn Premium or LinkedIn Business Premium. Note that if you purchased another application but didn't activate it, it won't show up in this list.

You might notice that you can still use features like Groups, Jobs, People Searching, etc., even though they aren't part of a paid membership. These services come built-into every professional social network account regardless of level of membership.

Is LinkedIn Sales Navigator the same as LinkedIn premium?

No, they're definitely not the same! While both offer similar capabilities and benefits, each offers slightly different ways to interact with them. And while we expect all members to receive access to LinkedIn Sales Navigator upon release, we hope that most people will opt for the free version instead of paying for a premium account just because of the additional functions offered by the latter. In fact, many companies have opted for paid business subscriptions over their current employee profiles simply because it gives them extra tools to better manage their networks.

To explain more clearly, the difference lies mainly in the ability to easily search for contacts based on skills and interests, as well as the option to add notes to specific connections. Both LinkedIn Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Premium provide the same basic information regarding your contact details and job history, but only LinkedIn Sales Navigator allows you to connect directly with others without having to share personal information.

It also lets you quickly send messages to multiple contacts at once, create customized landing pages for leads, and schedule meetings across multiple calendars simultaneously. On top of those added perks, LinkedIn Sales Navigator also provides detailed analytics data about your career, allowing you to monitor growth trends and identify future opportunities. It's worth noting that LinkedIn does allow you to export reports from the premium version, but there's no way to import them to LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Lastly, although LinkedIn Sales Navigator doesn't include ad blocking software, you might consider opting out of ads altogether since they can interfere with your work flow and cause distractions. Some users report getting notifications from LinkedIn related to ads popping up during conversations, which means that you must turn off push notifications completely if you don't want to miss important updates.

How do I open the sales navigator on my phone?

First off, note that you cannot install the LinkedIn Sales Navigator app onto iOS devices running iOS 11 or below due to system restrictions imposed by Apple. Only recently did the tech giant relax its rules around third-party applications. This means that you can only run LinkedIn Sales Navigator on iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches running iOS 12 and above. To enable the app, go to Settings & General followed by scroll down to Profiles & Privacy and toggle on Allow Access to Linked Accounts. After enabling the setting, you'll need to grant permission to the App Store by tapping Open System Preferences & Security followed by tap Trust Authorized Applications.

Now, you can visit the website via Safari browser and enter your username and password to sign in. Or if you prefer, you can link your email address and choose Sign Up Later to skip the registration process entirely. Once signed in, you can begin exploring various sections of the site, starting with Discover. Here, you can browse groups, events, jobs, newsfeeds, and much more, depending on the type of content you're looking for.

As mentioned earlier, the app itself is designed primarily for mobile phones and tablets. Therefore, you'll likely spend most of your time browsing through your connection lists, searching for connections based on keywords and preferences, and sending direct messages. There isn't anything else you'd really want to do on this platform unless you absolutely require it for work purposes.

However, if you happen to own a desktop computer and want to take advantage of the full suite of features provided by LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you can always switch to Chrome or Firefox browsers. Just head to chrome://apps/content/linkdin-salesnavigator-app to open the web app.

How do I set up sales navigator?

In order to use the new LinkedIn Sales Navigator feature, you'll need to follow the steps outlined in our guide titled How to Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator. For starters, you'll want to add your contacts' emails to your address book from your main phone number. Simply swipe left on any contact name and hit Add Email Address. Next, you'll need to verify your identity by entering a security code sent to your phone number. After doing that, you'll be ready to explore your LinkedIn community.

When you land on the homepage, you'll see three tabs along the bottom labeled Contacts, Messages, and Notifications. They correspond to the three primary areas of the LinkedIn Sales Navigator interface: connecting with contacts, messaging friends, and receiving alerts. All of these elements play vital roles in helping you build relationships with potential clients and employees.

On the Contacts tab, you'll see a list of everyone you've connected to. By default, the names listed will be sorted alphabetically, but you can change this behavior by clicking View Options and selecting Sort Name Alphanumerical. When you hover over anyone's name, you'll see their picture and bio, plus links to their public profile and recent activity feed.

Alongside the Contacts section, the Messages tab houses all of your previous interactions with members of the LinkedIn Sales Navigator community. As previously stated, you can message individuals or entire groups of people at once, and the recipient can respond immediately. Additionally, you can attach files, photos, and documents to your messages.

Next, you'll see a series of icons representing different kinds of notifications relating to your profile, activities, and relationships. Each icon represents something unique, so remember to keep track of everything happening throughout your day.

Finally, the Notifications area displays all of the latest alerts received from other connections and groups. Again, you can sort these according to relevance and importance.

Note: At this point, you probably still wonder what exactly LinkedIn Sales Navigator is trying to accomplish. Well, aside from providing you with a convenient place to communicate with colleagues and customers, LinkedIn wants to help you grow your network by making it easier for you to discover relevant connections. So far, the results seem pretty good, given that it's been used by hundreds of thousands of professionals worldwide.

And if you haven't tried LinkedIn yet, maybe it's time to give it a try. We recommend signing up for a free account first. That way, you can test out all of the core features yourself before committing to a paid subscription.

LinkedIn's new app called "Sales Navigator" has been a hot topic of conversation among users since its launch in September 2015. The app was originally available only for desktop computers, but now it's also available as an iOS app that can be downloaded from the App Store.

The app allows business owners to connect with prospective customers through different social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin, Google+, Pinterest, Tumblr, Snapchat, Foursquare, and even email. It then gives them access to their potential clients' profiles so they can make contact over those platforms instead of just sending emails or messages via other services like Skype or Slack.

To find out if this service is right for you, here are some things you need to know about LinkedIn Sales Navigator before deciding whether to buy it. We'll also show you where to get it and what features are included in the free version.

Can you use sales navigator on mobile?

Yes! You can use sales navigator on any device you have connected to the internet -- including iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and tablets. To start using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, simply go to www.salesnavigator.com/login on your computer, sign into your account, click Get Started Now at the top-right corner, and follow the instructions. Once you're logged in, you will receive a code which enables you to redeem it on your smartphone. Enter the code when prompted during the installation process and you will have access to all the same features offered by the desktop software.

If you don't want to install anything extra on your mobile device, there are two ways to view your contacts without installing the app. First, open up Safari browser and enter the URL m.linkedin.com. This should take you directly to your profile page. Second, you can visit the link below on your desktop (it works fine on mobile too) and log in. Then, choose the Account tab under the My Profile section. From there, you will see a dropdown menu labeled Contact Lists and select New List. A list screen pops up where you can create your own custom lists based around interests or location. These lists can include people who either share similar professional backgrounds or have common friends.

You could create one list for everyone interested in investing or another for those looking to sell real estate. In addition to these options, LinkedIn offers several pre-made lists, including Groups, Companies, Industries, Jobs, and Professionals. If you feel uncomfortable creating your own lists, you might consider adding someone else's list to yours.

Once you've created your lists, you can search within each one to locate individuals you would like to reach out to. For example, if you were interested in buying a home, you could look through the Homes for Sale list to find people selling homes near you or nearby cities. Or if you wanted to invest in stocks, you could browse through the Investing & Finance list to find people trading securities in your area.

Can I use sales navigator on phone?

Yes, you can set up LinkedIn Sales Navigator on your phone. However, once you complete the setup wizard, you won't actually have access to the app itself until you first sync your phone with your laptop. After syncing both devices, you will be able to access and work with the app while offline.

After connecting your phone with your laptop, you may notice a small icon appear next to your name on LinkedIn. Tap on this button to begin downloading the latest updates for LinkedIn Sales Navigator onto your phone.

When the download finishes, tap Install again and wait for it to finish installing. That's it -- you're ready to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator!

To check if everything worked correctly, head back to LinkedIn.com and navigate to your profile homepage. Next, scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Connected Devices. You should see the name of your phone along with a status indicating that it is currently being updated.

Next, open the Settings panel by tapping your profile picture in the upper left corner of your screen. Go to Manage Your Apps and tap the gear icon beside the LinkedIn Sales Navigator logo. Scroll down and tap Sync Status. When your phone confirms that it successfully completed the update, tap Done.

Now when you open LinkedIn Sales Navigator you will finally have access to all the tools and information you previously had only on your laptop.

How do I get LinkedIn Sales Navigator on my phone?

Here's how to get LinkedIn Sales Navigator installed on your iPhone (and iPad).

Open iTunes on your Mac and Windows PC. On Mac, press Cmd + Spacebar to bring up Spotlight, type in "iTunes," and hit Return. Choose Open Applications Folder from the results. Locate the file named MobileApps.app. Drag it over to your Desktop.

Finally, you will be presented with the option to Set Up Device. Click Agree to continue.

Download: LinkedIn Sales Navigator ($99.95)

Does LinkedIn Sales Navigator cost money?

No. Although the standard edition of LinkedIn Sales Navigator is $99.95 per year, its annual subscription fee includes a 30-day trail period. During that time, you can test out the full functionality of the tool without having to pay anything extra.

At the end of the 30 days, you can keep the app forever if you decide not to subscribe. Otherwise, you will be charged $99.95 every year thereafter. You can cancel anytime before the end of the trial period by heading to the Pricing Page on the website.

While you still have access to the LinkedIn Sales Navigator app, you cannot activate the paid plan unless you have signed up for the 30 day trial. So if you'd rather save yourself the trouble of signing up for the yearly subscription, we recommend getting the trial first. By doing so, you can try out the program completely risk-free for thirty days.

Then, you can decide whether or not you wish to purchase the paid plan afterwards. At least, that is the idea behind it anyway. Some people claim that the paid version doesn't offer enough value compared to the free version. Others say the opposite and argue that the free version isn't worth paying for at all. Whichever way you choose to look at it, there's no denying that it does come at a price. But considering most companies charge anywhere between $5-$20 per month for advertising space on various websites, we think it's a fair deal.

LinkedIn is a network that connects professionals in different industries with one another. It helps you find new opportunities by connecting you to people who may be able to help out or provide resources for the business you're working on. You can also connect with other businesses looking for new employees or services.

There are many ways that you can leverage LinkedIn's platform to make connections, but if you want to increase your chances of finding leads, there's only one tool that will let you do just that: LinkedIn Sales Navigator (Sales Navigator). If you've ever tried to contact someone through LinkedIn without success, this might be the reason why.

In this article we'll show you where to access Sales Navigator on your device so you can start making those important connections today!

What is LinkedIn Sales Navigator app?

If you haven't heard of Sales Navigator before, it's essentially an add-on for LinkedIn which allows users to create personalized "contacts" lists based on their interests. Each person has a profile page, which includes information like their company name, industry, education, skills, and job title. The contacts list then consists of all those profiles that match up with yours. This makes it easier for you to send messages to multiple people at once when needed.

You can also browse the entire list of people within Sales Navigator to look for potential partners or even competitors. And finally, LinkedIn offers a lot of tools to improve your experience while using its service. For example, you can track what others have said about you online, follow trending topics, and share your thoughts in groups and forums.

While these features are great, they don't really matter as much as they did back in 2013 because Sales Navigator isn't designed for lead generation anymore. Nowadays, you should probably focus on creating content instead.

How do I get to Sales Navigator on LinkedIn?

To begin using Sales Navigator, open up LinkedIn on your iOS device and tap on the three dots icon on the top right corner of the screen. Then select More & Settings followed by Account. From here, scroll down until you reach Personalization and click Edit Profile. Once inside this menu, go ahead and switch off Social Ads. Next, toggle On Linked Accounts under Connections section and enter your account password to continue.

Once done, return to your main profile page and scroll down to the bottom of the page until you reach Send Messages option. Click on it to view the full interface of Sales Navigator. Here you can customize your message subject line, choose whether you'd rather receive replies sent directly via email or mobile phone number, and set your default inbox location. To finish this process, simply hit Add Contact button. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm adding this particular individual into your list. Tap OK to proceed.

Now that you've created a few contacts, you can head over to your Contacts List to sort them into categories. By clicking on any category, you can edit the settings of each contact to further refine your search results. You can also delete or reorder the order of your contacts list.

Is Sales Navigator separate from LinkedIn?

Not exactly. While both applications offer similar functions, the difference lies in the fact that Sales Navigator is not part of the core functionality of LinkedIn itself. Instead, it's a standalone product whose purpose is to allow you to easily communicate with prospects you meet on the social media site.

As such, it doesn't require a paid membership to work properly. However, if you already have an active Premium account, you can skip the steps above and jump straight into Sales Navigator. Otherwise, you can sign up for a free 14-day Trial version of the software. Just remember that after this period expires, you won't be allowed to use certain features including sending invitations and viewing contact details.

How do I check my LinkedIn Sales Navigator subscription?

The best way to know if you still need to subscribe to Sales Navigator is to visit your My Info page on LinkedIn. There you'll find a link saying "View Your Subscription". In case you were wondering, the price of a monthly subscription starts at $15 per month.

Download LinkedIn Sales Navigator and enjoy it on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

LinkedIn Sales Navigator

Compared with many of its competitors, LinkedIn has focused less on social features such as messaging, photo sharing, and video-sharing options. Instead, LinkedIn's focus has been on helping users get jobs, earn money, grow their networks, and make connections.

That said, there are still some basic ways that you can use LinkedIn if you want to stay connected with friends and family. For example, you can send messages through the mobile version of LinkedIn (it’s called “Sales Navigator”) to keep everyone updated on what you’re doing. There’s even an option to share photos via this feature so that others can check up on how things are going for you.

However, we think that LinkedIn has made a big mistake when they decided not to include these types of features into the main part of the service itself. On top of that, most of us have heard bad news about the company recently, including allegations that it was selling user data without telling them first. If you’ve had enough of the negativity surrounding LinkedIn lately, read our review of Sales Navigator below to decide whether the app is right for you.

Note: This page contains iOS 7 UI elements which will vary slightly depending on your device model.

What's New in Version 1.2.

Here are some of the changes included in version 1.2 of LinkedIn Sales Navigator:

The ability to search for contacts based on their company name instead of searching just for an email address or phone number.

A redesigned interface for viewing contacts and recommendations.

Sharing data between apps no longer requires logging into each app separately.

Searching for Contacts

When you first open up LinkedIn Sales Navigator, you'll notice that there isn't much to look at yet. At this point, you won't have any contacts, but that will change soon enough as we add them throughout our review period. The main thing you should know right now is that if you want to view all of your contacts, you need to go through your profile page where you can click on "View All" underneath the Contact section.

To start finding contacts, you must create a keyword search. This allows you to filter searches so they only show results related to those keywords. For example, let's say you wanted to target someone within a specific industry -- such as accounting or construction. In order to do this, you would type in the words "accountant" or "construction," then hit Search.

You'll get a list of people who match your criteria, which makes sense because you've already created a keyword search. From here you can select the person you'd like to contact and tap Next button. Once you send off your message via text or an instant message, you'll receive a notification letting you know how long it took for your request to reach its destination.

If you don't feel comfortable using text messaging, you can always set up an account with LinkedIn Messenger (iOS) or LinkedIn Messaging (Android). With these options, you can use voice chat when sending messages to anyone else using either platform.

Finding Recommendations

Recommendations are similar to contacts in that you can sort them by relevance or by date added. Clicking on a recommendation lets you read what the sender has to say about the recipient along with seeing a short bio including their job title. If you click on the small arrow next to the sender's photo, you can swipe left-to-right to expand their profile and view additional information.
