How do I pull leads from Facebook?

How do I pull leads from Facebook?

Facebook has become a go-to place for businesses looking to find their next customers. It's easy enough to set up an account and start posting content. But if you're already using the platform, there are other ways of accessing your leads through Facebook. These include creating a custom audience or running targeted ad campaigns.

This article will help you learn more about getting leads from Facebook by focusing on two different methods – downloading leads directly into Google Sheets, as well as viewing those same leads on your computer via Business Manager. We'll also cover why you might be unable to see any leads, despite following all the steps correctly.

If you want to know what all these terms mean, check out our beginner’s guide to social media marketing. There we explain everything you need to know about building relationships online, including understanding which platforms work best for you.

How do I get Facebook leads in Google Sheets?

Once you've got some subscribers to your email list, it may seem like they don't really care much about what you have to say. However, this isn't always true. If you run a business that sells products or services, then chances are people who sign up to receive emails from you won't just ignore them. They'll actually read them! And even if they aren't interested in buying anything right away, at least they now have your contact details so you can keep sending messages until they click "buy" (or whatever).

You could use Google Sheets to collect data from your subscribers' interactions with your emails. You can create forms where subscribers enter information about themselves. Then you can extract this info from your spreadsheet, save it somewhere safe, and send automated follow-up emails based off this data. The beauty of doing things this way is that each new subscriber only gives you his/her name and email address. That means you can add more fields to your spreadsheet over time without having to ask permission first.

It takes a little bit of coding knowledge but once you understand the basics, it's pretty straightforward. To begin, open Google Sheets in advanced mode. Go to File & New and choose Form -- Create a simple HTML page. In the resulting dialog box under Template select Blank template. Click Next. Add your input field(s) here. For example, if you were collecting names and phone numbers, you'd add Name followed by First initial + Last name + Phone number. After adding all inputs, make sure to change the Input label text to something meaningful. Finally, hit Finish.

Now when someone fills out your form, Google will convert it to an Excel file containing all the values entered. From there you can export the sheet and import it back into Google Sheets whenever you need to update the data. Keep in mind that this process doesn't delete any existing entries, so you should clear your old data before implementing this method.

Alternatively, you can take advantage of a service called Leadformid.com, which lets you connect your spreadsheets together automatically. Once you fill out your first form, your email provider will generate a link to a unique URL that includes a token code. Copy this URL and paste it into the form builder of LeadFormID. When visitors submit the form, LeadFormID sends the data to its API. LeadFormID then uses the token code to match the submitted data against your spreadsheet to retrieve the information you need.

LeadFormId offers three pricing plans ranging between $25 - $100 per month depending on the amount of data you plan to capture. The free version allows users to store 5GB worth of data, while the paid versions offer 25GB ($50), 50GB ($75), 75GB ($125), 100GB ($200), and 250GB ($500). The prices increase slightly after $250 because the company charges extra fees for storage space above that level.

While both options allow you to track responses from your subscribers, the latter option also provides additional features such as automatic drip campaigns and customizable landing pages.

How do I access leads from Facebook Business Manager?

One great feature of Facebook Marketing Platform is the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, allowing you to switch between various clients quickly. While many marketers prefer to stick to one type of client, others split tasks across several profiles. Either way, being able to easily jump from one project to another makes managing your team easier than ever.

The downside to this approach is that switching between accounts is often tedious and confusing. Luckily, Facebook does provide a tool specifically designed to help you manage multiple ad accounts.

To access your leads, simply log into Facebook Business Manager and navigate to Ad Accounts. Here you'll see your active ads listed along with links to edit and delete individual ones. Just below the list of ads is a section labeled All Activity, showing every interaction made on your website.

Click on the arrow icon located beside Subscribers and Visitors to expand the section further and reveal a second block titled Active Leads. Each entry shows the date and time the activity occurred, the user making the action, and whether the person clicked "View Details."

There's no reason to stop here though, since clicking View Details reveals additional information including the user's name, profile picture, gender, age range, location, education level, occupation, interests, languages spoken, relationship status, income bracket, and purchase history.

From here, you can customize your campaign targeting based on what you learned earlier. So let's say you wanted to target men aged 18-35 living within 15 miles of San Francisco who speak Spanish. Simply drag and drop the appropriate criteria onto your map to filter down to exactly the kind of prospects you're looking for.

After selecting the relevant filters, you can either scroll down to the bottom of the screen to see a preview of the results, or click Preview Results to see a full list of potential leads. As you can imagine, this latter choice comes in handy when trying to find specific individuals among hundreds of records.

Just remember not to spam too many people at once. According to Facebook's advertising guidelines, you shouldn't exceed 10% of a person's total friends unless they explicitly requested promotional material. Otherwise, you risk violating the rules.

Where is leads in Facebook Business Manager?

When browsing the list of leads captured during the course of your day, you'll notice that most of them appear grayed out. What happened? Well, sometimes users opt out of receiving your notifications, meaning you can't interact with them anymore. Other times, they've opted out of certain types of communications altogether.

For instance, if someone unsubscribed from your newsletter, she probably didn't expect to hear from you again. Similarly, if someone deleted her Facebook profile, he likely never expected to receive updates from you. Thus, you may encounter a few blank rows in your lead lists.

Why can't I see my Facebook leads?

As mentioned previously, the main issue preventing you from seeing your leads lies elsewhere. Most likely, you haven't implemented the correct tracking code properly. Fortunately, the error message provided by Facebook contains a solution.

Go to Settings & Tracking & Advanced settings. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Edit Code. Paste the snippet provided by Facebook into the editor, replacing {lead_name} with the name of the lead you wish to display and {lead_email} with the email address. Hit Save Changes & Test to verify everything worked properly. Now try refreshing the page and see if you can finally spot your leads!

Facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms out there, with over 2 billion monthly users. The platform has been around for a while now, but it's only recently that its advertising capabilities have really caught fire. Nowadays, businesses can use Facebook as an ad network, meaning they'll be able to advertise their own products or services using Facebook pages and posts.

The good news is that if you're using this method, then all of those people who like your page will also get notified when new content goes live (and vice versa). If you want to find more information about these leads, you can always check out our complete list of everything you need to know about Facebook Lead Ads.

But what happens once someone clicks through your link and visits your website? How do you actually reach out to them, so that you can build relationships and turn those potential customers into actual ones? That's where things start getting tricky.

Most marketers end up doing something called "lead nurturing" which involves contacting your leads regularly to remind them why they signed up in the first place, keep them interested in what you've got going on, and encourage them to become paying clients. But how exactly do you go about reaching out to your leads on Facebook? And how often should you do it?

Here we take a look at some tools available for you to help you nurture your leads. We explain how easy it is to set up and run campaigns, show you how to track results, and give you tips on how to make sure you don't lose any valuable data along the way.

Where are Facebook leads stored?

Once someone signs up for your service or product on Facebook, they'll receive an email confirming their account activation. You might even get a phone call! This confirmation email contains two links -- one for logging back in and another for downloading a PDF file of their details.

If you click on the latter, you'll automatically be taken to a webpage with your name, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, location, interests, and other relevant information. There are no restrictions here, so you can access the entire database whenever you want.

So far, nothing too exciting right? Well, let's move onto the next part.

Why are my Facebook leads not showing up?

It could be because they haven't yet activated their accounts. Or maybe they deleted their profile before signing up. Whatever the reason may be, your leads aren't popping up on Facebook.

You can try sending out emails and calls again, but if that doesn't work then you can contact Facebook directly. To do this, head over to the Help Center section within the Settings menu. From there, select Account & Privacy, followed by Advertising. Finally, scroll down until you spot the option labeled Get Started With Ad Manager. Clicking on this opens up a pop-up window explaining how to create an ad campaign on Facebook.

From here, you just need to fill in the basic fields such as creating an ad group, selecting a target audience, choosing keywords, adding images, etc. Once you're done, you'll be given instructions on how to upload your files and start running your campaigns.

How long do leads stay in Facebook?

According to Facebook themselves, after clicking on your link, users typically spend between 15 minutes and 24 hours on your site. So unless you plan to wait for years, you probably won't be seeing much activity from your leads during this period.

However, if you sign up customers via direct sales methods such as cold calling or telemarketing, then chances are that you'll see them come back to buy something else at a later stage. This is especially true if they already have a strong connection with you. In fact, according to Hubspot, the average customer lifetime value is $1,500.

That said, if you sell physical goods, then you should expect to see a lot higher retention rates since buyers usually have less choice than digital shoppers.

Can I see Facebook leads on mobile?

Yes! While desktop visitors tend to stick around longer, mobile users spend significantly shorter amounts of time browsing sites. According to Alexa, only 3 percent of web traffic comes from smartphones and tablets, compared to 47% coming from desktops.

In order to better understand how your business performs across different devices, you should consider integrating Google Analytics into your website design. This free tool allows you to analyze visitor behavior based on device type, browser version, operating system, screen resolution, geolocation, and many others. It's worth noting that although you can log in from anywhere, it does require either a paid subscription or a trial license to fully utilize its features.

After installing GA, install the Facebook Pixel plugin. Then visit the Tracking Settings tab within Admin Panel and enable the 'Enable Facebook pixel' box. Next, open your ad creation settings and enter the URL of your landing page. Lastly, add the tracking code snippet provided by the Facebook Pixel plugin to your HTML header.

Now when users leave your site, you'll be able to monitor whether they clicked on your button/link and whether they ended up purchasing something. As mentioned above, if they didn't purchase anything, then chances are high that they left quickly due to lack of interest. On the other hand, if they did purchase something, you'll be able to see how many completed transactions came from each source channel.

Alternatively, you can integrate the Facebook Pixel plugin into your WordPress theme instead. Simply copy and paste the code provided below into your functions.php file and save changes.

function wpse_fbpixel_analytics() {

// Enable Facebook pixel

wp_enqueue_script( 'fb-social', '/js/libs/wpsc-plugin-facebook-pixel.min.js' );

wp_localize_script('fb-social', 'WPSC', array('ajaxurl' => admin_url("admin-ajax.php")));

add_action('wp_footer','wpse_fbpixel_analytics');

Then simply replace WP_SOCIAL_URL with YOUR_FACEBOOK_PAGE_ID. For example, if your ID was 1234567890123, then you'd input ‘https://www.facebook.com/1234567890123’.

Finally, you can also choose to display custom analytics reports based on user actions. For instance, if you want to see how many times users viewed certain sections of your blog post, you can easily customize the script to include additional filters.

Leads are a great way of getting started when it comes to marketing online. You can use these leads as warm or cold prospects for your business. The problem is that most people don't know where they came from in the first place! That's why we have put together this handy tutorial about how to export Facebook leads into Excel so you can track which ones convert best.

You may be thinking, "What does this even mean?" Well, if you're using Facebook Lead Ads then the main purpose is to get interested individuals onto your website by sending them emails or text messages (SMS) directly through their phone numbers.

If you want to find out more information about what Facebook Lead Ads actually is, here's an article explaining everything there is to know about this type of advertising. If you'd rather just read our short overview, jump down below to the next section.

How do I export Facebook leads to excel?

The easy answer is to simply click the Download PDF button at the bottom of any page within Facebook Lead Ads. However, sometimes you might need some help exporting the data. For example, maybe you've got hundreds of contacts but only want specific details like name, email address, and phone number. In this case, you'll need to create a spreadsheet beforehand.

To begin, open Microsoft Excel 2016 and head over to File - New sheet. Then, hit Next to continue. Name the new sheet something relevant to your campaign and select Create & Continue.

Now that you've named the worksheet, you should insert columns for each field you want to include in the exported file. To add the name column, go back to Step 1 above and make sure you check Add header row. Once done, you can choose Insert - From Table/List/Database...

Next, you will either need to connect to your database or import the list manually. With Facebook Lead Ads, you must make sure that your account settings allow connections between apps and websites. After doing that, you can enter the following URL:

This URL connects you to the correct fields under the Contact Summary section. Simply copy and paste the values from one cell to another until you have filled in every single field. Remember to change the ID value in the URL accordingly depending on your actual campaign!

Once you've completed filling in all the needed cells, save the document before closing Excel. Now you're ready to export the content to your chosen format.

In order to export the entire table, right-click anywhere in the blank space on the left side of the screen and select Copy Link Location. Then, go ahead and paste the link wherever you wish. It shouldn't take long to complete since the process is automated.

However, if you want to export individual rows, you will instead have to navigate yourself via the steps above. Select the desired contact from the list and drag the mouse pointer to the destination location. When finished, press Ctrl + C to copy the URL, delete the original, and rename the newly created version.

Finally, close Excel and open Notepad++. Go to Edit - Paste Special - MultiClipboard and input the copied URL in the appropriate box. Press OK to confirm and proceed to Save As. Choose.csv extension and give the file a meaningful name such as Facebook_Data.csv. Hit Finish once again and you're set!

Export all leads from Facebook ad Manager?

So far, we have covered how to export leads from Facebook Lead Ads. But what if you want to export all leads across the board? Fortunately, there is no difference in terms of method.

Just repeat the steps outlined above except replace the word 'lead' with 'contact'. There is also a slight variation in the URL. Instead of entering /leads/, you must enter /contacts/. This ensures that you're able to extract the full amount of information from each lead without having to worry about duplicates.

How do I capture leads from Facebook?

Another common question is whether you can actually capture the leads in the first place. Yes, you absolutely can. All you need to do is visit the Capture Page tab and fill in the necessary details.

As soon as you hit Submit, you will receive an email confirmation containing instructions on how to redeem the code. Clicking on the provided hyperlink will take you straight to the redemption page. Enter the required info, wait while the system processes your request, and then verify your identity. Finally, after completing the verification process, you will be asked to log in with your account credentials.

Afterwards, you will start receiving leads immediately. They will come in batches throughout the day, so keep checking regularly to ensure that you have plenty of fresh material to work with.

Can you Export Facebook ad results?

While you can easily export leads from Facebook Lead Ads, you cannot export the final result itself. This means that you won't be able to analyze the conversion rates, CTR, etc., unless you already own a third party tool capable of performing those tasks.

For instance, Google Analytics allows you to export reports and compare different campaigns based on certain criteria such as demographics, keywords used, CPC spent, landing pages visited, etc. By comparing and contrasting multiple accounts, you can decide which strategies yield better results overall.

1. How to Get the Most Value From Your Free Lead Capture Page

The biggest benefit of using free lead generation pages on Facebook is that you get loads of data straight away without having to pay any money upfront. It also means that even if you're just starting out, you can still generate some useful information.

However, there are many ways that you could be losing valuable leads on your page. In fact, according to a study by HubSpot, only 1% of visitors actually leave an offer behind once they arrive at their target landing page. So what happens to all those other 99% who never make it past the landing page? Well, they often go back to check whether more offers were available - but then they end up leaving without making a purchase either.

This is exactly what happened to me recently. As part of my latest project, I needed to find out how much traffic was coming through each day. But since I couldn’t afford to buy a paid tool such as Google Analytics, I had to come up with another solution.

So after looking around different tools, I decided to create a new Facebook ad and test it against one of our old ads. After running both campaigns over two days, I discovered that the new campaign got almost double the number of clicks than the previous version did. However, the results weren't quite as good.

In total, the new ad received 18 clicks compared to 28 clicks across the previous ad. There were four conversions, whereas the old ad saw seven conversions.

It seems obvious now, but it wasn’t until I ran the numbers that I realised that there must be something wrong with the conversion rate for the new ad. If I wanted to increase the chances of converting more customers, I needed to figure out what was stopping people from clicking through to the next step – and how I could fix
