LinkedIn has been around for years now. It's not just another social media site anymore. You can find your next client there or connect with people who might be interested in working together on projects. But did you know that LinkedIn also offers a tool called Sales Navigator which helps you increase your sales results by making sure you're reaching out to the right people at the right time?

It seems like everyone is talking about LinkedIn Sales Navigator these days, especially since it was recently added as part of LinkedIn Premium. I'm here today to tell you whether this product is really worth it -- or even worth paying extra for! Let's take a look at what's new in the latest version of LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

What is the best way to use sales navigator?

First off, let me say that LinkedIn does offer many other tools than their Sales Navigator platform. They've got Pulse, Groups, InMail, Answers, Hiring, Jobs, Recruiter, SlideShare, etc., all designed to help you build relationships with potential clients, partners, and job seekers. Since they do so much more than simply push emails into people's inboxes, you may want to consider looking elsewhere. For example, try AWeber instead of MailChimp (which will still allow you to send those email campaigns).

That being said, I am going to focus mainly on LinkedIn Sales Navigator because it's one of the few products offered exclusively through the paid membership plan. This means that if you don't pay $25/month, then you won't receive any access to the feature set. That doesn't mean you'll lose everything though, as we'll talk about below.

I recommend signing up for a free trial first, however. If you feel like the service is worth the money, then go ahead and sign up. The downside is that during the trial period, you'll probably see some ads pop up when browsing the website. These aren't annoying ads at all, mind you, but rather helpful reminders telling you about certain services and things that you may want to learn more about.

The main thing to remember is that while the ads are nice, none of them actually require you to purchase anything. So, no matter how long you stick around, you'll never need to make a payment. And, once you start getting regular leads or opportunities coming in via LinkedIn Sales Navigator, then you should definitely upgrade to the full experience.

Does sales Navigator give you premium?

This question depends entirely on what level of subscription you decide to buy. There are two options available: Standard ($24 per month) and Advanced ($39 per month). As mentioned above, both plans include access to LinkedIn Sales Navigator. However, the difference lies in the number of contacts included in the database used to deliver targeted messages.

For instance, Basic subscribers can target 1 million users whereas Advanced subscribers can reach 10 million. Obviously, having more targets gives you more flexibility, letting you pick and choose exactly whom you'd like to message each day.

The cost difference between the two packages isn't drastic either. However, the price hike comes after the first year, whereupon the standard package costs $48 per month, compared to the advanced package costing $54. After that point, prices remain constant until the end of the contract (three months), whereupon you must renew again for the same amount.

So basically, you could save yourself $6 per month over the course of three months if you decided to stay within the basic plan.

Now, let's talk about why you would want to subscribe to the Advanced Plan. First off, there's the fact that the more contacts you have in your database, the better chance you have at finding someone who matches your ideal customer profile. Second, there's the fact that targeting different groups allows you to tailor every single email to appeal specifically to whoever receives it.

Finally, there's the fact that Advanced memberships come with a bunch of additional perks such as priority support, enhanced content, and more. All of these add-ons will certainly put a damper on the overall value proposition of the service, but if you're willing to spend $10 more per month, then you shouldn't hesitate.



What are the benefits of using LinkedIn sales navigator?

As far as the actual functionality goes, LinkedIn Sales Navigator consists of four major components: Email, Calls, Social Media, and Website Visits.

Email: By default, when you log onto LinkedIn, you'll notice that there's an option under "Connections" labeled Emails & Alerts. Clicking this opens a list of all the emails sent to your account in the past 30 days. From here, you can click on any subject line to view the entire message. You can also reply directly from here, and even forward the email to others.

Calls: When logged in as a member of LinkedIn, you'll also notice that there's an option under "More Options". Here, you can schedule calls with anyone whose information you have entered. Once you select a contact to call, you can enter their phone number and hit "Schedule Call."

Social Media: LinkedIn makes it easy to monitor activity across multiple platforms. To do so, navigate to "Profile," then scroll down to "Activity Feed." Underneath "Recent Activity", you'll see a dropdown menu titled "Followers." Selecting this lets you keep tabs on all the updates made by your followers. This includes comments left on posts, likes earned, photos uploaded, videos shared, etc.

Website Visits: Lastly, clicking "Visitors" reveals a list of websites visited by visitors to your page. This is perfect for tracking backlinks to your own website, checking out competitor sites, and monitoring any changes to your webpages.

Overall, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is an excellent marketing tool for B2B professionals. While it's true that most small businesses wouldn't qualify as high enough ROI customers for LinkedIn to justify the cost of membership, larger companies often benefit greatly from the ability to track and manage lead flow. Plus, the fact that the software works seamlessly with Outlook and Gmail further increases its value.

However, there are other platforms such as AWeber that provide similar functionality and they don't cost anywhere near as much as LinkedIn does. You could save quite a bit of money by going down this route rather than paying $15/month to access LinkedIn Sales Navigator. That said, if you already know you'll need to pay for sales automation, then it may not matter very much.

This means you can tailor each message you send to match someone's specific needs. For example, if you notice that someone is working in a particular sector, you can choose to target them specifically with content relevant to that field. The same applies if you notice that somebody lives close to your office or works within your own industry.

For every person you connect with, LinkedIn will show you their interests and hobbies. These include sports teams, books and movies they watch, music they listen to, restaurants they frequent, and even places they visit regularly. All of these details are collected automatically during interactions with others, making it easy to determine exactly how best to build rapport with potential clients.

So overall, there isn't any major reason why you shouldn't go ahead and sign up for LinkedIn Sales Navigator. However, if you decide to stick with the free version you can still benefit from its advanced features by signing up for a paid plan later on.

Premium Business comes with additional perks like unlimited users, mobile apps, video recording, and 24x7 support. While the latter sounds great, most businesses won't require this kind of assistance anyway. Instead, consider investing in LinkedIn Sales Navigator Pro if you think it will offer real value.

What is the difference between premium business and sales navigator?

As mentioned earlier, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Premium come with slightly different sets of features. However, the biggest difference between the two is price. And while you can always upgrade your account to LinkedIn Premium after you start receiving positive results, you cannot downgrade back to regular sales navigator.

That being said, it seems odd that LinkedIn would charge twice the amount for essentially the exact same package. On top of that, you often end up spending even more money when you factor in the monthly subscription fee for your chosen CRM provider. In short, unless you absolutely need the extra features offered by Premium, I'd suggest sticking with the standard plan.

Also, remember that there are lots of other options available if you prefer not to buy anything right now. Plenty of third party services offer cheaper alternatives to LinkedIn Sales Navigator that don't involve buying a fully functional copy of the program itself.

Now that you understand how LinkedIn Sales Navigator works, you might feel tempted to dive straight in and start using it. Before you do that, however, it pays to learn how to navigate LinkedIn Sales Navigator properly. Otherwise you'll waste precious time searching for the perfect message to send next.

On the flip side, the platform will likely remain stagnant as far as design changes are concerned. According to rumors, Facebook is planning to acquire LinkedIn. If true, this would mean that LinkedIn wouldn't be able to change anything about its interface anytime soon.

At the moment, we believe LinkedIn Sales Navigator remains a solid solution for most businesses. With proper research and planning, it can improve your conversion rates significantly. Still, we highly advise against relying solely on this tool alone. Combining it with other systems like Hubspot, SmartBear, Pardot, and Marketo will give you a stronger edge over your competition.

And the thing is, just like anywhere else, you'd be better off spending money on something rather than wasting your hard earned cash on a useless website. That's why I suggest you try using the free version first. Then, if you think it works well enough for you, switch over to the paid subscription plan.

Another benefit of using Sales Navigator is that you'll never run out of leads again. Why? Well it's quite simple. When you sign up for a free account, you get 5K+ email addresses. Now imagine yourself sending out emails to 500 of them. How long would it take you to wait until you get replies? Even if you were lucky and received 100 responses back within 24 hours, it wouldn't be fast enough.

You'd probably end up losing interest after a week while waiting for your next batch of leads. The only major difference is that you'll pay $7 per month for LinkedIn Premium whereas the price tag is set at $17 per year for LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

What is the difference between sales Navigator inbox and LinkedIn inbox?

It's pretty straightforward. One is for incoming communications while the other is for outgoing messages. Let's compare them side by side.

Incoming Communications

Inbound communication is handled via email. As mentioned earlier, all you need to do is enter your target market and keywords into the software. After that, it automatically creates a list of potential leads and sends them personalized emails.

Outgoing Messages

On the other hand, LinkedIn offers a messaging feature called Direct Messaging. With this option, you can communicate with anyone regardless of whether he/she uses LinkedIn or not.

This means that if you wanted to contact a colleague whom you haven't talked to in ages, you can simply click on her name and type something along the lines of "Hey, how are things?" She'll instantly respond to you.



Which method is better?

Well, personally speaking, I prefer the second one mainly due to the fact that it gives me more control over my conversations. Since I'm not limited to talking to strangers, I feel more comfortable initiating conversation whenever possible.

Plus, it saves me precious time because I can reply quickly to any questions my colleagues ask. On the contrary, using the former method means that I have to manually look for people I meet often.

Basically, it's a lead generation software designed specifically for selling products and services. While it was initially introduced as part of the Connections Plan, it became a standalone service later on.

With it, you can generate highly qualified leads based on your precise needs. Furthermore, you can customize the process according to your preferences. Basically, you can choose to either follow a step-by-step approach that includes creating multiple campaigns across various industries, or you can opt to go straight to the point by letting the software handle everything for you.

Since LinkedIn doesn't officially release official instructions on how to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, I've decided to put together a short guide myself. To begin with, you'll need to create a free LinkedIn Account. Once that's done, log in and visit the following URL: https://www.linkedin.com/salesnavigator/. Click Sign Up Free. Fill in your details and proceed to complete the registration form.

Once you successfully register, you'll immediately receive an invitation code. Enter it in the box below to activate your membership. Please keep in mind that you cannot cancel your subscription once activated.

Afterwards, head to the Sales Navigator homepage. From there, you can view a detailed breakdown of your current stats including number of subscribers, active users, revenue generated, etc.

Next, select Create Campaign from the left sidebar menu. Select the desired campaign and fill in your keyword(s), description, budget, date range, etc.

Then, click Next Step. Choose your audience segment and add filters accordingly. Finally, hit Finish. Your campaign is ready to launch.

From there, you can check out the stats page to monitor the performance of your campaign. By default, the software displays data from the past 30 days. To change this setting, click on Advanced Settings under My Data section.

Finally, just remember to promote your efforts by sharing your success stories on Facebook or Twitter. Doing so increases your chances of attracting attention from prospective buyers.
